Unit price perFor this, "The Botanist", small-batch, artisanal Islay gin we use nine of the classic gin aromatics orris root, cassia bark, coriander seed, etc ? and augment these with a heady harvest of 22 wild, native island botanicals, hand-picked by our expert foraging team from the windswept hills, peat bogs and Atlantic shores of this Hebridean island of Islay.
This truly seasonal and exotic cocktail is then slow "simmer" distilled in our unique and cherished lomond pot-still, "ugly betty". Betty prefers to work at low-pressure and won't be rushed. So our precious botanicals are slowly and gently coaxed into releasing their complex, signature aromatics.
This was a unique project for our head distiller, Jim McEwan. Jim says he had to "learn a new dance" with Betty, and none of us knew what to expect from that first, achingly-slow 17-hour distillation. The result: a highly distinctive, complex, floral gin with an outstanding finish and impeccable provenance. In an age of re-badged industrial gins, the Botanist stands out as a truly artisanal, small-batch, hand-crafted labor of love and distiller's art. A breath of botanical Islay in every glass.Source - www.bruichladdich.com

Unit price perIntroducing Rodenbach Evolved Saint Georges, a truly unique beer experience! This Sour Pale Ale boasts a 6.7% ABV and draws inspiration from the beloved “Gueuze Saint Georges” Rodenbach beer, cherished until the late 1970s. Our team at Rodenbach came together to revive the essence of this iconic brew in our exclusive Rodenbach Evolved series. Crafting it involved blending traditional ingredients from wheat beer, saison, and lambic, resulting in a refreshing and fruity sour pale ale. We fermented this beer using our own special Rodenbach yeast culture, which gives a distinctive flavor profile. Following fermentation, we allowed it to mature for 2 years in the carefully selected wooden barrel known as foeder “93.”

Whole bunch fermented blend of Riesling and Pinot Gris, which spent the first part of their wine journey in amphora with two months of skin contact, which results in the orange hue in this lovely refreshing dry wine. Softly white wine with grip and aromatic appeal, which ticks the vegan box.
Certified organic
The organic story at Seresin
One of the greatest things about Seresin Estate is the organic certification. This came relatively early on for Seresin, who was dismayed by the amount used and the impacts of man made chemicals, which were routinely and frequently sprayed on vines. His early adopting philosophy of organic certification paved a positive path for the integrity of the wines as well as leading others to follow suit.

Unit price perGrapes in this Chardonnay were all grown at Te Awanga on the Hawke's Bay coast, near to Cape Kidnappers, hence the name.
This wine was made from 70% hand picked grapes which were 70% whole bunch fermented with the remaining 30% destemmed before fermentation in a combo of French oak and stainless steel tanks. All yeasts were wild and the wine was aged in French oak puncheons, 15% new for eight months. It's a full bodied, dry Chardonnay with intense zingy acidity thanks to the cool climate the grapes were grown in.
A top quality Chardonnay from Hawke's Bay - offering exceptional value for money at such a modest price.
