Even the King of the Underworld needs a best friend. For Hades, that was Cerberus, his three headed doggo. While his extra heads made him a triply-good guard dog, he did chew through a lot of sandals. This West Coast IPA is our triple dry-hopped tribute to the hound of Hades. We’ve used four different breeds of hop – Centennial, Columbus, Simcoe and Mosaic – to create this boisterous mutt, with a fruit salad bomb of flavour. At 7.4% you might want to share it with at least one other head.

Porter is the oldest commercially brewed style and London Porter was Emerson’s first beer. Dark, dry and mellow with some hoppy characteristics, pours a deep brown colour with reddish tints. The aroma is toasty, with a hint of sweetness and some earthy hop notes. Firm-bodied but not heavy, with a creamy texture, the dryish palate is full of roasted malt, coffeeish notes and a sustained bitterness.

Irish Whiskey Cask matured Scottish Stout. Scotland is renowned for making whisky, Ireland for making stout. This beer brings together and celebrates both nations by turning that convention on its head.
Jet black in colour. Aromas of dark chocolate, espresso and vanilla, with a full malt character. A beautifully balanced bitterness gives way to a long, chocolatey finish.
Mellow, complex, and decidedly different from the usual.

Just because you don't want a beer, it doesn't mean you don't want a beer. So, we brewed you a beer. Inspired by the big bold flavours of Bird Dog IPA, but without the bite. Little Bird is an alcohol-free* IPA, with a deliciously-puritanical, true expression of the hop flavour. It's so tasty, you wont even realise you're not drinking. Until the morning, of course

Formerly known as Blood Red Sky, Caribbean rum casks meet Scottish red beer in an explosion of cool, spicy rum notes, vanilla and rich fruit

Blanc de Blancs champagnes are a Chardonnay lover's dream with nougat, vanilla, fresh cream and nutty flavours combining in a smooth textured dry, full bodied bubbly.

It's made from Grand Cru vineyards in the villages of Avize and Ogier in the Côte des Blanc; the Champagne region's epicentre of Chardonnay. 

This high quality sparkling wine is a dry style with 9 grams per litre of residual sugar and it is fresh, soft and rich in style. The wine was disgorged in July 2019. 

It is a blending of Calvados aged a minimum of 15 years. In fact, it contains percentages of older Calvados that gives it all its nobleness.

It lets in the mouth a subtle taste of apple that gradually gives way to the refined alliances of the tannin of old Calvados. It is perfect harmony between the apple and the wood, with underlying aromas. The Calvados of all the nice moments.

With predominantly local hops and slightly above-average alcohol content, our Red IPA has the same confidence and individuality that characterise our own former colony. Tantalising passionfruit aromas give way to a delightful and unexpected combination of berries, tart ruby grapefruit and a comforting toasty malt on the palate, rounded off with a satisfying, sustained finish.

Showcasing all NZ hops with Lemon zest and Mandarin on the nose, with Grapefruit lemon and Lychee rounding off a very drinkable Hazy IPA.

A USA style beer, with big hop in your face flavor. Made as an annual release for the Malthouse West Coast IPA Challenge. It is an opportunity to celebrate and show our appreciation. Assertive, brash and loud. A US of A amber coloured ale using American hops.
