ALL BLOND BEER

Leffe Tripel is an authentic blond abbey beer full of character that experiences a secondary fermentation in the bottle due to the presence of yeast. Its flavour is robust and refined.

?This blond, top-fermented and naturally hazy abbey beer surprises on various levels. For one, the balance between the bitter and the sweet flavours is simply magnificent, as is its bouquet, which contains magical flavours such as banana, peach, ripe pineapple and a variety of spices, which subtly combine coriander and orange. To obtain an even more pronounced flavour, pour it into the glass at an angle, so as to mix in the sediment at the bottom of the bottle. If you prefer your beer sweeter and softer, don?t pour the entire contents into the glass.

Ciney Blonde is a Belgian beer whose legend precedes it. Brewed since 1980, this top-fermented beer has become a hit beyond the borders of the low-countries thanks to its superb balance.

Offering an attractive golden body accompanied by a consistent white head, Ciney Blonde offers a range of agreeable malty, fruity scents including pear and banana.

The taste is particularly well-balanced between fruity and malty, with a frank bitterness courtesy of the hops, to make a beer that positively cries out to be tasted.

Achel 8 Blond  is a light golden beer with a massive 4 finger head that never went away. The head was so white & frothy I let it sit for 10-15 minutes & it never went away. Aroma was grassy & spritzy & had a fair amount of carbonation. Taste was the same as the aroma & was a very smooth beer.

Leffe Rituel 9 is produced with additional hops that give it a long and intense aftertaste: for this reason, tasting it is a real ritual.

Aroma: Touches of clove and vanilla, which then give way to hints of fresh banana.

Taste: The powerful aromas develop a spicy and distinct flavor in the mouth. The spicy, fruity and bitter aromas are perfectly balanced.

In 2005 Xavier Vanneste, son of Mrs Véronique Maes, renovated and restarted the old brewery which had been in the family since 1856. He launched Brugse Zot, a new beer with a unique recipe. Today Brugse Zot is the only beer brewed in Bruges’ town centre!

The people of Bruges are known as "Brugse Zotten" (Bruges Fools), also known as "Brugse Jonckers"

TASTING NOTES

Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, spices. Flavour is citrus, yeast, wheat, coriander. Medium body.

A delectable blonde ale with sprightly fruitiness, soft malting, and a slightly dry, gently-hopped finish. A sparkling nose, complex flavours, and a touch of bitterness give this 6% beer all the refreshing qualities of classic Blonde ale.

This blonde beer unites various malt and hop components into a harmonious tasting experience. A touch of fruitiness enriches the mainly fresh and slightly bitter aftertaste. A superior thirst quencher.

Kapittel Blond is a mild blond high-fermentation beer with secondary fermentation in the bottle. It has a slightly sweet and sour attack, with a mildly fruity palate and hints of citrus and orange. The light finish, combined with the tingle of the carbonation, combines to create a balanced thirst-quenching and refreshing ale.

6.5% ABV

Best Before: 2025/05/09

A light-blond, organic, top-fermented Trappist ale with a sturdy collar. The aroma is characterised by the refreshing and fruity aromas of the yeast, combined with the flowery scent of citrus caused by the hops. Only organic ingredients were used when brewing this Skal-certified ale. The result is an accessible, refreshing and smooth Trappist ale with a pleasant bitterness and a mild, dry finish.

7.5% ABV

DATED STOCK: This beer is past date or nearing the best before date. The beer will still taste good but not quite so good as when it was first brewed.

Top fermented strong blond beer, refermented in the bottle. It is a powerful, slow-drinking beer with a strong charcter, exquisite aroma and a sublime taste.

Life should be easy, and so should drinking beer. It doesn?t come much easier than this Blonde Ale. Pilsner, Wheat and Toffee Malts; Pacific Jade Hops and California Ale Yeast with water drawn from Oakura?s aquifer.

Blonde with copper reflections, topped with a generous head, Hopus derives from a secret batch brewed for the marriage of Paul Lefebvre. It has a unique and original nose, a blend of vegetal, citrus and fruit notes. The attack is bold, with an intense bitterness accompanied by a plethora of hopped notes. On the palate, the fruity top-fermented aromas and the malted flavours perfectly balance the initial taste without masking it. The bitter aftertaste is persistent but not disturbing, powerful but not overwhelming, elegant but not opulent…in short, the perfect preparation for the next mouthful. Drink very cold as an aperitif with crisps and pickles, as an accompaniment to a spicy dish or as an after-dinner digestive

The Achel Extra Brown is finely pearly and has a modest aroma with sweet notes of caramel malt and a hint of vanilla.

The mouthfeel is soft and round and the alcohol is well hidden. The aftertaste is much less sweet than the taste suggests and ends in a light and pleasant bitterness.

The Achel extra blond is extra dry-hopped during the lagering. It produces a strong bubble with an abundant white head. It has a hoppy aroma followed by a spiciness.

In the taste, the hop bitter and malt notes are nicely balanced.

The beer has a long dry finish with a pleasant hop bitterness.

Blonden Os is a top-fermenting artisanal beer, historically brewed at the Bourgogne Des Flandres Brewery in Bruges. Its simplicity ans its natural elegance are evocative of these wonderful beers from another time.
