Black BEER - BEER, but darker. 4.8%

Exactly as it sounds. Water, malt, hops, yeast. Still simple, just dark. Brewed with a comforting bounty of Gladfield Pilsner, Munich and Chit malts. Sometimes simple is exactly what you want.

For the fourth edition of the Haze of the People series, we once again put the decision in your hands – this time asking the public to choose the hops that would make the cut. The result? A globe-trotting line-up of NZH-106, Saphir, Citra and Vic Secret, coming together from New Zealand, Germany, the USA and Australia. With such a far-flung selection, the name for this hazy adventure practically wrote itself: 'Four on Tour'.

Tooheys Extra Dry is well known for its clean, refreshing taste. Its crisp, dry finish is achieved by an extended fermentation, ensuring minimal residual fermentable sugars. Wonderful fruity, malty notes accompany a mellow middle palate, leaving a clean aftertaste.

Barrel Fermented Spelt Saison 

4.6% Alc by Vol | 750mL bottle 

Spelt Saison brewed into large format neutral French oak barrel on a mixed culture of yeasts. Aged in barrel for 14 months and conditioned in bottle for 6 months before release. A slightly nutty, bready, and crisp malt base with a fresh floral and faintly earthy nose. A touch of bitterness to balance out, and a tart spelt rusticity. This beer is complex, fun, and made to share. 

Our 2024 vintage of Meli is a barrel fermented pale ale conditioned on local wildflower honey and NZ Cascade & Wai-iti hops. Meli showcases a nice piney, kaffir lime hop aroma matched with rustic barrel character and a floral clean honey finish. Light bodied, dry, and fresh with a light bitter finish.
