Winemaker Notes
Forest floor aromas, fruit and minerality are a welcome sign we are in the south of Priorat. Sensations which make us re-live a springtime stroll through Mediterranean woodland. Intense and fresh, balanced with some silkiness which is characteristic of Mas d’en Gil wines.
This wine works well with meat-based dishes: grilled lamb with Mediterranean herbs or grilled Iberian pork dishes, red meat such as Galician Rossa beef (Rossa Gallega). It also goes well with fatty fish such as grilled tuna or with rice and risotto dishes.

This is grown organically, hand harvested and aged for 15 months on lees following the second fermentation. That's the same time frame as the majority of champagnes but this lovely dry sparkling wine comes to us all at a mere fraction of the price. It has zero dosage so it's bone dry in taste and is bursting with delicious flavours, a medium body, refreshing style and a long finish.

Lovers of Bandol reds will enjoy this lovely smooth, full bodied red from Casa Castillo, a blend of Monastrell 60%, Garnacha 20% and Syrah 20%.
It's made from old bush vines which provide very small amounts of highly concentrated juice. Modern winemaking with cold macerations retains freshness and new French oak provides structure. Unit price perThis is New Zealand's first nigori-zake, handcrafted in Queenstown. The distinctive milky colour is caused by residual rice particles left unfiltered in the sake. Nigori-zake is an easily recognisable drink, and is popular as a great accompaniment to sweet and spicy dishes.
Our brand is Zenkura - while 'zen' means all, 'kuro' means black - a simple but powerful combination born in NZ. We start with water from the snow-capped Southern Alps and special sake rice that has been milled to remove the outer 40%, leaving only the best part of each grain for the fermentation to begin.
Best enjoyed chilled.
14% ABV.

It's a beautiful rounded, dry, full bodied champagne with crisp greengage aromas and notes of tangy nectarines supported by the firm acidity and characteristic freshness of Chardonnay, which is the predominant grape variety in this blend.
