Marlborough's Renaissance has had a cracking year taking out both the Champion Brewery Award at the NZ Beer Awards and Champion Small Brewery Award in Australia. Stonecutter is their flagship combining a rich complex caramel and coffee malt character with a hint of peat smoke, and a raisin and marmalade fruitiness. Stonecutter is every bit the match to a charred steak off the barbecue.

Liberty Brewing - Originally brewed for the West Coast IPA Challenge in 2013, the name of this beer wasn't always planned to be so grotesque.  You see...  I had penned the name pretty much every hop variety i could get from the USA thrown in.  However, whilst filling the kegs for this esteemed competition, a song came on Spotify and made the task so much more enjoyable that i decided to change the name.  But let's face it: Yakima Kitchen Sink was a bit of rubbish really!

Anyhow, regardless of the name the beer continued to take out the champion spot which was one of the proud moments in my life.  It's just a shame i wasn't there to enjoy the celebrations!

7.1% ABV.

It's no secret that great Chardonnay is made in beautiful rolling Moutere Hills in Nelson, which is home to the clay based vineyard where this wine comes from. Hand picked grapes were pressed into French oak cuves, where they went through spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts followed by malolactic fermentation and minimal filtration at bottling. This wine is fresh, dry, full bodied and creamy, balanced by nutty and citrus flavours.

Our latest core range IPA is an aromatic and hoppy beer, revved up with Riwaka, Galaxy and Mosaic hops that impart a sweet citrus tang, spritzy tropical peach and passionfruit nose, and a cool, refreshing bitterness with every sip.
Crisp and delicious with a lean malt bill that really lets these hops hit like early Detroit techno!

Founded in 1998 by WM. Chardonnay is king and queen at Bogle in California. It's the only varietal this winery makes so it invests enormously in ensuring the Chardonnays meet up with market demand for big, buttery, vanilla and cedar flavours in the wines. 

The Reserve Chardonnay from Bogle is the biggest, creamiest Chardonnay we have from this producer in store at Regional and it's made from ripe grapes, which have spent significant time in new American oak barrels to gain creamy richness as well as spicy, cedar notes to add depth.

Great Garnacha from the town of Cadalso de los Vidrios in the Sierra de Gredos, which is hot property for new wave Garnachas right now. 

This medium bodied wine has big bold fruit flavours balanced by high acidity developed in the high-altitude vineyards and firm tannins that contribute to its long finish. 

The wine is a light, delicate and perfumed expression of Garnacha with firm tannins surrounding a core of lively fruit and a long finish; great value for money. 

Brewed longer to enhance the flavors, this Munich Dunkel-style Lager gives way to a rich flavor and remarkably smooth taste. Modelo Negra contains Water, Barley Malt, Non-malted Cereals and Hops.

Here is a Pinot Noir that shows how good Marlborough Pinot can be. Smooth with a hint of spice here and a touch of dark red cherry flavour there, this is complex and delicious. It drinks well now and can also age for a further three to four years.

Clos Henri began 22 years ago in Marlborough when the French Bourgeois family expanded their winemaking from the heart of Sancerre in the tiny village of Chavignol to Blenheim, in 2001. Now that their vines are 22 years of age , the family feels that they are only now starting to reflect and express the taste of the land. This family retains their land and winemaking in Chavignol where they have made wine for 11 generations.

A juicy IPA without the alcohol. Big tropical and citrus aromas from the locally grown hops.

Pierre Emmanuel Taittinger runs this famous champagne house with his son Clovis and daughter, Vitalie, who both work beside him in the day to day running of Champagne Taittinger. It is one of the grand marques champagnes. This means it is one of the top tier, best known and most highly respected producers in the Champagne region and it has built its reputation on Chardonnay dominant bubblies, with the Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blanc being the pinnacle of its production.

This non vintage (NV) champagne is also Chardonnay dominant, which is where its bright, clean, fresh and refreshing acidity and creamy notes come from. 

It is a beautiful and classic champagne. One of our favourites.

Al Muvedre is a varietal Monastrell from Alicante created by Telmo Rodríguez.

The grapes come from old vines in vineyards located in the town of Monóvar in the province of Alicante. The harvest, done by hand, is performed in late October, and goes through a process of fermentation in stainless steel and concrete. The wine is full of purple fruit, black olive tapenade and spice, a rustic, exciting expression of Monastrell.

Clearview Estate is one of oldest, most well established wineries in Hawke's Bay and is situated on the Te Awanga Coast, south of Napier. It's a great place to visit for tastings at the cellar door as well as lunch in the dappled shade of the established courtyard area. The winery was founded by Tim Turvey, winemaker and co-owner.
