Areni is thick-skinned and late-ripening. Grown in the highlands of Vayots Dzor, the region that revealed the world’s oldest known winery, Areni has been cultivated here for thousands of years, carrying forward an ancient winemaking tradition.
Dark ruby in colour. with aromas of red forest fruits on the nose. The palate offers plum and peppery notes giving way to velvety tannins and a prolonged finish. Medium tannins, medium to high acidity..

We endeavour to dispatch orders the next business day, couriers can take 1 to 2 business days to deliver to non-rural addresses and 2 to 3 days to deliver to rural addresses.
Exceptions during December:
In December, please allow 3 business days for delivery. The last day for Christmas orders is Monday, 15th December for all South Island and all rural deliveries, and Wednesday, 17th December for North Island non-rural deliveries. After these dates Regional Wines cannot guarantee delivery before 25th December. Bear in mind that business delivery addresses may be shut from Monday 23rd December as Xmas falls on a Thursday.
