Brewed for Smith's NZ IPA Challenge, we are showboating some serious hops that our beautiful country has to offer. Meet our newest Hazy IPA that is set to explode with the best flavours that the South Island Hops have to offer.

Flavours: This hand-grenade of hops is charged with pilsner and wheat malts, a touch of chewy toffee malt and an arsenal of Oats. The luscious full mouthfeel propels the real weaponry - Motueka, Nectaron and Superdelic hops, detonating in a dazzling array of citrus, tropical fruit and rich red berry flavours and aromas.

Flavours: Dryhopped with Pacifica, Motueka and Riwaka, you will get an explosion of Mojito, Orange Marmalade, and Grapefruit Citrus Punch.

It would be cheeky to take our best Fresh Hop Recipe and bring it back with normal hops and try to ride off of it's name. That isn't the Double Vision Way! Instead, we got ahold of our mates at Clayton Hops and asked what we could do to AMPLIFY the beer and level it up to even better than the original. Let us introduce you to AMPLIFIRE? by Clayton Hops.

AMPLIFIRE? isn't a one-trick-pony by any means, but is a sub-brand of Clayton Hops that is intended too BRING THE NOISE and make the loudest beers possible! We are using both the Cryogenic Lupilin T90 Pellets as well as the Fresh Hop Oils to maximise Hop Hunter's Punch.

"Clayton Hops is the proud operator of the first and currently only cryogenic concentrated lupulin pellet processing facility in the Southern Hemisphere.

Our unique patent-pending process separates whole hop cones into lupulin and plant material  at extremely low temperature in a nitrogen-rich/low oxygen environment which limits oxidisation to enhance quality.  The lupulin, which contains the sought after resins (bitterness) and oils (flavour and aroma), is then pelletised to produce a super-powerful product ? up to twice as intense in resins and oils as a T-90 hop pellet."

Fresh Hop Oils
"Amplifire? Fresh Hop Oil is produced in New Zealand making it a more environmentally responsible product.  It is extracted from whole hop cones on the same day they were harvested.  From bine to bottle in one epic day! The whole hop cones are processed into oil from ?wet? hops, meaning straight off the hop plant without any drying or pelletising.  You can?t get any fresher than that!

The extraction process does not use any solvents. Amplifire? Fresh Hop Oil is free of bittering components."

Flavours: Resinous Tropical and Passion Fruit from Riwaka. Grape, Peach, gooseberry and lime from the Nelson Sauvin. All atop a clean malt base to elevate the Amplifire? Fresh Hop Oils and Cryogenic Lupulin Pellets.

A Hazy IPA with Cryo Hops, Hop Kief, a variety of malts, a special yeast to add complexity and a little bit of abv. It's like a Hop Neopolitan. 'Why is it called Jeffrey? Because who could be scared of a Jeffrey? Jeffrey's just this nice bloke from down the road.'

Coming in with an orchestra of NZ and US hops, expect exactly what the name says: huge flavours of Juicy Hazy goodness!

Flavours: Motueka, Citra and Nelson Sauvin are boldly dry-hopped to keep bitterness down but Aromas and Flavours sky high! Expect massive notes of citrus, tropical, Mojito and gooseberry. We have used Jumbo oats and wheat for body, plus American ale malt and a touch of Pilsner malt for flavour.

7.0% ABV.

Reinventing the OG of DVB Hazy Brews - A lineage of constant improvement and development. Reintroducing: Juicy Two Shoes - 6.2% New England IPA

When we talked as a team about bringing back Juicy Two Shoes, we decided we were keen to keep the same delicious hops, but improve a few tweaks here and there for the process as we have learned over the years. We now have better schedules of Dryhopping, getting more fruity aromas out of it, and improving the body to be more silky smooth and lighter through pilsner malt vs ale malt ratios.

Low Bro -Tropical Chilli Sour 2.5%

Howdy partner, are you ready to buck up and double down? This hombre is taking all the flavours of the big dawgs and dropping it low. The juicy tropical fruit of mango and passion fruit combined with the kick of habanero chillis to kick it up a notch! 

Flavours: Pilsner malt, wheat, oats and a bit of Gladiator malts kettler soured to kick up the mouth feel and match the punch from the passion fruit, mango and habaneros!

Lucy likes to spend all their time with a tropical drink in hand, floating around the Hazy Hop Pools of Planet DVB. To Lucy, life is a relaxed and chill haze. That?s why we aspire to be more like Lucy. With heaps of US Hops, we are getting a tropical, juicy, delicious beer with a refreshing body and a crisp finish.

Heaps of late-addition US hops bring tropical-fruity flavours with some nice and juicy citrus notes. The body is beautiful and not too heavy so you can have a solid session on this moreish drop.

Beervana 2024 Limited Release

Does what it says on the tin, mate! Everything you like from a hazy: full flavour, juicy, and all of those delicious tropical notes from dry hopping, without too much bitter.

Flavours: Quenching tropical fruits, citrus and lime zest from the US and NZ hops with solid body to match from Oats and Wheat.

5.3% ABV.

Moustache Ride - Milkshake IPA 6.5%

Who wants a Moustache Ride? This beer does! Whether or not you have a mo, you don't want to miss this bad Mama Jamma. All the fruit flavours from the hops and not too bitter make for a smooth drinker. 

Flavours: Think the body and juiciness of a hazy with extra smooth and sweet from the lactose to balance the hops. Sometimes called an Oat Cream IPA in the States. Late addition Amarillo, Kohia Nelson and Riwaka layer juicy flavours over the creamy base.

IPA - Mango, apricot, and citrus with a body to back it up.

Naughty Hopper is packing a mouthful of resinous tropical fruit flavours, thanks to Simocoe, Amarillo and Mosaic hops.  These Rockstar hops are low in bitterness but high in juicy goodness.  Late additions and awkward positions are what Naughty Hopper is all about.
