Great flavours of bold and powerful yeasty freshness come from Champagne Bollinger's blend of over 85% Grand and Premier crus (top ranked vineyards in the Champagne region). Bolly is made from the three main Champagne varieties: 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. It is cellar aged for twice as long as required by appellation regulations and modestly dosed at between 7 and 8 grams per litre, which beautifully balances the already intense depths of flavour and  structural support from the blend, the fresh acidity from being made with grapes grown in a cool climate and a portion of oak fermentation (larger format and older oak) to encourage gentle, slow oxidative fermentation. 

The taste of Bollinger is dry, toasty, savoury and rich in flavour with elegance from its fresh acidity, depth of flavour and long finish.

Bollinger is one of the great champagnes, not only in perception, due to its to its high profile affiliation with Ab Fab and James Bond. 

This good value magnum of Mo?t Imp?rial comes from the large Champagne house of LVMH (Louis Vuitton Mo?t Hennessey) and is typically a blend of 30 to 40% Pinot Noir, 30 to 40% Pinot Meunier with 20 to 30% Chardonnay for balancing crispness and freshness. It's made from Mo?t & Chandon's vineyards in all of the five main grapegrowing areas in the Champagne region.

Santisima Trinidad de Cuba seven year old Rum is a bright amber in colour with sweet aromas of raisins, dried grapes and oak. On the palate there is slight but perceptible sweetness, combined with hints of vanilla and dried sweet almonds.

Chimay Blue is principally distinguished by its character of a strong beer. This is a beer whose fragrance of fresh yeast with a light, flowery rosy touch is especially pleasant. Its flavour, noticed when tasting it, only accentuates the pleasant sensations perceived in the aroma , while revealing a light but pleasant touch of roasted malt. This top fermented Trappist beer, refermented in the bottle, is not pasteurised.

Le Tribute Gin comes in a beautiful light green fluted glass with glorious copper accents that has been designed to look like an antique medicine bottle.

This gin was made by the same team who created the highly celebrated Gin Mare. Distilled seven times with a focus on citrus botanicals, Le Tribute is a stunningly vibrant citrus gin. Citric presence on the nose with fruity and juniper notes. Fresh and fruity on the palate with vibrant citric notes and an underlying touch of lemongrass and juniper. Fresh yet dry enough.

The tonic has specially sourced quinine from the Loja Provence in Ecuador and has notes of Lemongrass to pair perfectly with the gin.

Pierre Emmanuel Taittinger runs this famous champagne house with his son Clovis and daughter, Vitalie, who both work beside him in the day to day running of Champagne Taittinger. It is one of the grand marques champagnes. This means it is one of the top tier, best known and most highly respected producers in the Champagne region and it has built its reputation on Chardonnay dominant bubblies, with the Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blanc being the pinnacle of its production.

This non vintage (NV) champagne is also Chardonnay dominant, which is where its bright, clean, fresh and refreshing acidity and creamy notes come from. 

It is a beautiful and classic champagne. One of our favourites.

Commercial Description

Taittinger Brut R?serve is a blend of Chardonnay (40%), Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier (60%) wines from over 35 different vineyards and vintages matured to perfection. 

This high proportion of Chardonnay, unique among fine non-vintage champagnes, and a minimum ageing of three years in the cellars, where it reaches the peak of aromatic maturity, makes Taittinger Brut Reserve a delicately balanced champagne, known for its consistently excellent quality all over the world.

Taittinger considers it an honour to produce a Brut champagne every year without exception. The brilliant body is golden yellow in colour. The bubbles are fine, while the foam is discreet yet lingering. The nose, very open and expressive, delivers aromas of fruit and brioche. it also gives off the fragrance of peach, white flowers (hawthorn, acacia) and vanilla pod. The entry onto the palate is lively, fresh and in total harmony. This is a delicate wine with flavours of fresh fruit and honey. 

Taittinger Brut Reserve, which acquires its maturity during three and four years ageing in the cellar, offers excellent aromatic potential. 1919 Distilling - Named for the year that New Zealanders stood up for their rights and voted down prohibition.

1919 Kirikiriroa is the first Whisky released by 1919 Distilling. It was entered into the 2020 New Zealand Spirits awards where it gained a bronze in its category.
