Classic dark-brown Trappist ale with an ivory-coloured head, A full malty and caramel-sweet taste with a subtle, sweet influence of dates, honey and dried fruits. Contains barley malt.

La Trappe Isid’or (330mL @ 7.5% abv)

Amber-coloured Trappist ale with a broken white head. The harmonious taste starts off fruity and shifts to malty caramel; a perfectly balanced ale. Contains barley malt and wheat malt.

Classic and powerful Trappist ale. Golden blonde with a white head. A full flavour with a candy sweet and light malty character. Contains barley malt.

Commercial Description

Taittinger Brut R?serve is a blend of Chardonnay (40%), Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier (60%) wines from over 35 different vineyards and vintages matured to perfection. 

This high proportion of Chardonnay, unique among fine non-vintage champagnes, and a minimum ageing of three years in the cellars, where it reaches the peak of aromatic maturity, makes Taittinger Brut Reserve a delicately balanced champagne, known for its consistently excellent quality all over the world.

Taittinger considers it an honour to produce a Brut champagne every year without exception. The brilliant body is golden yellow in colour. The bubbles are fine, while the foam is discreet yet lingering. The nose, very open and expressive, delivers aromas of fruit and brioche. it also gives off the fragrance of peach, white flowers (hawthorn, acacia) and vanilla pod. The entry onto the palate is lively, fresh and in total harmony. This is a delicate wine with flavours of fresh fruit and honey. 

Taittinger Brut Reserve, which acquires its maturity during three and four years ageing in the cellar, offers excellent aromatic potential. One of the great pink champagnes, combining toasted red fruit flavours and the freshness of a great, complex wine with long lees ageing. This outstanding rose champagne that is made intentionally as a pink hued wine that gains richness and flavour from being a 100% Pinot Noir sparkling wine made from 10 different crus located mainly in the South and North areas of the Montagne de Reims, which is home mostly to Pinot grapes.

The grapes from carefully selected plots are sorted and destemmed before vatting
and maceration lasts from 48 to 72 hours depending on the harvest, helping to reveal all the richness of Pinot Noir.

The result is an elegant salmon pink in the glass offering a precise nose of extraordinary freshness and a wide range of red fruits: raspberry, redcurrant, strawberry and black cherry. The palate is supple and rounded with flavours of freshly picked red berries.

Champagne Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1812 by Andre Michel Pierlot and took the name Vve Laurent-Perrier when Mathilde Emilie Perrier, the widow of Eug?ne Laurent, combined the two family names after she decided to expand the business.

Eugenie Hortense Laurent, her daughter, inherited the House in 1925 and sold it to Marie-Louise Lanson de Nonancourt in 1939.

Yalumba is a family owned and fiercely independent wine producer with roots back to 1849. This is their take on the classic Australian blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.

The Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from four vineyards in the Barossa Valley. The diversity of the vineyard selection provides the rich, lifted Cabernet Sauvignon aromatics and palate structure for which The Signature is renowned. The Shiraz comes from vineyards of varying age, with the oldest planted in 1925. These blocks are of sandy loam, featuring yellow sand and ochre clay over red clay. The combination of these Barossa Valley blocks provides a Shiraz with sweetness, fullness, depth and layers of complexity.

Matured for 19 months in 25% new French barriques and Hungarian hogsheads, balance in older French and Hungarian barriques and hogsheads.

Deep, dense purple-red in colour. Seductive and alluring florals, cool mints, red pomegranate with fine blackberry fruits and dark cherry aromas. The palate is delightfully generous with dark red cherry fruit that merges into ironstone tannins. A medium to full bodied wine with a long, flowing tannin profile. A very refined and elegantly styled Signature

Pierre Emmanuel Taittinger runs this famous champagne house with his son Clovis and daughter, Vitalie, who both work beside him in the day to day running of Champagne Taittinger. It is one of the grand marques champagnes. This means it is one of the top tier, best known and most highly respected producers in the Champagne region and it has built its reputation on Chardonnay dominant bubblies, with the Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blanc being the pinnacle of its production.

This non vintage (NV) champagne is also Chardonnay dominant, which is where its bright, clean, fresh and refreshing acidity and creamy notes come from. 

It is a beautiful and classic champagne. One of our favourites.

Great flavours of bold and powerful yeasty freshness come from Champagne Bollinger's blend of over 85% Grand and Premier crus (top ranked vineyards in the Champagne region). Bolly is made from the three main Champagne varieties: 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. It is cellar aged for twice as long as required by appellation regulations and modestly dosed at between 7 and 8 grams per litre, which beautifully balances the already intense depths of flavour and  structural support from the blend, the fresh acidity from being made with grapes grown in a cool climate and a portion of oak fermentation (larger format and older oak) to encourage gentle, slow oxidative fermentation. 

The taste of Bollinger is dry, toasty, savoury and rich in flavour with elegance from its fresh acidity, depth of flavour and long finish.
