Puriri Hills - The vineyard is set in green rolling hills southeast of Auckland, New Zealand, just outside of the village of Clevedon. From the main road, a long driveway climbs past vineyards which produced their first handmade, blended red wine in 1999. Grown and produced entirely on the property, the wines are gaining recognition as serious contenders to the best right bank Bordeaux.
Region: Clevedon, Auckland
Varietal: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Carmenere, Malbec
First established by William Chambers in 1858, the Chambers family has been making wine at Rosewood for over six generations.
The Rare Muscadelle (Tokay) boasts a deep amber color along with a rich, sumptuous nose of molasses, brown sugar, and a smorgasbord of spices and flavors, a whopping, unctuous texture, amazing concentration, and a powerful, heady finish.
Macduff distillery is located near the mouth of the River Deveron, where the river meets the sea. Sheltered from the worst of the seaboard storms and winter winds, this tranquil spot has seen the creation of The Deveron malt whisky for many a decade.
Using five small copper pot stills and unusual horizontal condensers that gently coax extra character from the spirit, The Deveron is a light, fruity and approachable spirit with some hints of nutty notes.

Unit price perProphet's Rock winemaker Paul Pujol produced precious little of this Chardonnay - just six barrels were made from hand picked grapes grown at Lowburn in Central Otago. The wine was fermented with wild yeasts and all up it received 15% new oak, with the remainder being older barrels. This wine is set to become a collector's piece, not least because it was inspired by and made in collaboration with a French winemaker. Prophet's Rock winemaker Paul Pujol and Burgundy winemaker, Francois Millet of Comptes de Vogue in Chambolle-Musigny joined forces to produce this fitting match to the outstanding Pinots from this wine brand.
Delicious complex champagne with great depth and super fresh flavours; amazing value for money. Andr? Clouet Grand Reserve is aged on lees for four years before disgorgement. It's made from 100% Pinot Noir, which is where all its rich, deliciously toasty aromas come from and the style is a complex blend of wine from the 2015 vintage with depth of flavour coming from the 50% proportion of older reserve wines from 2014, 2013, 2012, 2008, 2005, 2004 and 2002.
The dosage is 8 grams per litre, which makes it dry in taste and in style.
This wine offers substantially more flavour than most champagnes at this price on the market today - and kicks many more expensive bubbles to touch too.
Champagne Andr? Clouet dates back to 1741. Today the family owns eight hectares of estate vines in the best middle slopes of Bouzy and Ambonnay in the Champagne region from which it makes (along with purchased grapes) great wines of richness and depth. Andr? Clouet Grand Reserve is one of our staff faves here at Regional and is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, all grown on grand cru vineyards and aged on lees for four years before disgorgement. That is significantly longer than the legal minimum of 18 months aging on lees, pre release, in the Champagne region.
This long aging time provides great depth and complex flavours to this deliciously flavoursome non vintage champagne. It offers incredible taste and richness.
* The Andr? Clouet Grande Reserve is also available in half bottles.
If you?re after a complex champagne made from the great Pinot Noir grape, try this.

Unit price perThe Santisima range is a blend of distilled cane sugar (or agricole) and rum distilled and aged from molasses. The rums are aged in ex-bourbon barrels and then hand selected and blended across different ages to create the different styles. The fifteen year old is big and round with flavours and aromas of nuts, stewed fruits and molasses.
One of the great pink champagnes, combining toasted red fruit flavours and the freshness of a great, complex wine with long lees ageing. This outstanding rose champagne that is made intentionally as a pink hued wine that gains richness and flavour from being a 100% Pinot Noir sparkling wine made from 10 different crus located mainly in the South and North areas of the Montagne de Reims, which is home mostly to Pinot grapes.
The grapes from carefully selected plots are sorted and destemmed before vatting
and maceration lasts from 48 to 72 hours depending on the harvest, helping to reveal all the richness of Pinot Noir.
The result is an elegant salmon pink in the glass offering a precise nose of extraordinary freshness and a wide range of red fruits: raspberry, redcurrant, strawberry and black cherry. The palate is supple and rounded with flavours of freshly picked red berries.
Champagne Laurent-Perrier was founded in 1812 by Andre Michel Pierlot and took the name Vve Laurent-Perrier when Mathilde Emilie Perrier, the widow of Eug?ne Laurent, combined the two family names after she decided to expand the business.
Eugenie Hortense Laurent, her daughter, inherited the House in 1925 and sold it to Marie-Louise Lanson de Nonancourt in 1939.
