Epic High Voltage Hazy 6.2%

Tasting Note: High Voltage is a hazy IPA that?s all about harnessing the energy of two powerhouse hops: Citra and Mosaic. This brew pours with a dense, golden haze that hints at the flavour overload waiting inside. From the first sip, you?re hit with a surge of tropical goodness?think juicy mango, ripe pineapple, and a burst of citrus that dances on your tongue. The Mosaic hops add a layer of complexity with subtle berry undertones, while Citra delivers a bright, refreshing citrus punch.

In 2022, we released our own gluten free version of our flagship beer, Punk IPA. This light, golden classic has been subverted with new world hops to create an explosion of flavour. Bursts of caramel and tropical fruit with an all-out riot of grapefruit, pineapple and lychee, precede a spiky bitter finish. When it comes to brewing gluten free beer, we start the process in the normal way, using malted barley to make our wort (a sugary-sweet liquid that forms the fermentable base of our beer). The removal of gluten comes later in the process through an enzymatic addition. The introduction of this enzyme works its magic by binding all of the gluten in that beer, so when we filter the beer the gluten gets filtered out in the process. There’s no witchcraft involved in the process. As our Head of Quality says, ‘it’s just simple chemistry’.

O?Hara?s Hazy IPA is a juicy, sweet IPA with a vibrant tropical fruit aroma and peachy stone fruit flavour. Brewed using some our favourite hops including Azaca and Strata, making this a refreshing fruit forward IPA perfect for lazy days, BBQs and great company.

6.8% ABV

An explosion of flavoursome bitterness that increases with intensity towards the finish, tempered by an unparalleled velvety smoothness resulting in a very accessible taste. Fresh, fruity and floral notes give way to touches of caramel sweetness, while its superb, lingering aftertaste continues to tantalise the tastebuds long after.

This Double IPA, Hop & Hibiscus, combines floral hibiscus notes with citrusy hops. The use of oats and rye gives the Hop & Hibiscus a full and soft mouthfeel. All this together provides a balanced, refreshing and unique taste experience.

The XPA style is designed to showcase hops while Brut styles produce a dry beer with little or no malt character. With Bone Dry Brut XPA we combine both these styles to produce a beer which is lighter in colour than a pale ale and very dry, which allows the hops to shine through. This brew uses Nectaron hops which bring intense tropical fruit and citrus aroma. Bone Dry is an easy drinker, dry and crisp, with a noticeable hop experience, and low in carbohydrates compared to other beer styles. **Highly Commended - New World Beer & Cider Awards 2019 and 2024**

We went all-in with one of our favourite NZ hops: Riwaka. And this unfiltered IPA is loaded! Fresh grass, capsicum and dank diesel-laden aromas are underpinned with a passionfruit and citrus palate plus enough malt to back it up. Like a fresh powder run down the mountain, the smooth bitter finish leaves you wanting more. Here?s to winter and good beer!

Bright and sparkling, like some gold bullion, this COLD fermented IPA is golden with crisp brilliant bitterness, a little bit dank, and a citrusy hop profile that makes this new COLD IPA seriously drinkable. You have found a little golden treasure with this beer.

This is a West Coast India Pale Ale with a bright golden colour. It shows pronounced fruity aromas and fresh citrus, its bitterness will leave a memorable taste in the mouth.  It is elegantly balanced between the mixture of select hops and the sweetness of the special malt.
