A wonderful expression of Bushmills single malt. This is the second release in the Steamship Collection and it was fully matured in Ruby Port Casks.

Blended by one of Scotland's most famous Master Blender's, Billy Walker, this new lineup of Irish whiskey is part of a limited edition series of whiskies selected for the Lough Gill distillery in Sligo. Annacoona has been aged for 14 years, the first 11 were in American oak casks, prior to a final 3 years in rich pedro ximenez and oloroso sherry casks. Billy describes the whisky as elegant and aromatic, with dried fruit, oranges and rich melted chocolate, remaining fresh and lively as well. The palate is unusually rich for an Irish malt, with salted caramel, dark forest fruits and spices that linger, becoming honeyed and again a combination of chocolate & citrus.

Tasting Note: Black Irish is Irish whiskey at its darkest. It has been mellowed in deep-charred oak barrels for a smooth, creamy vanilla finish then infused with strong Irish stout and darkened with rich chocolate malt and roasted barley, to create a bold dark spirit.

Inspired by a partnership spanning decades between two of the world’s great whiskey-making capitals: Bushmills Distillery and legendary barrel-makers Kelvin Cooperage of Louisville, Kentucky.

Made with single malt used in Bushmills Original, finished in double-charred American Oak barrels, and then blended with the brand’s signature triple distilled Irish grain whiskey. 

Rich yet mellow on the palate, the double charred maturation process imparts balanced sweet notes of crème brûlée, toffee apple, and vanilla

Teeling 13 Year Old Single Grain epitomises our focus on driving the evolution of Irish Whiskey and being a pioneer in celebrating Irish Single Grain. A wholly unique style within Irish Whiskey pushing the boundaries of convention, at the intersect of where old meets new. Crafted using an unconventional mash bill of 95% corn and 5% malted barley that has been triple distilled and matured initially in ex-bourbon casks before being given extra maturation for a further four years in ex-Bordeaux Red Wine Casks. Proudly bottled at 50% with no chill filtration ensures all the true character of the whiskey is retained.

Nose: Ripe red apples, chocolate aromas, a hint of red wine booziness.

Palate: Damson and honey, followed by drying touches of cacao and cinnamon.

Finish: Juicy red berries and spiced fruit compot

Bushmills 14yo is triple-distilled and undergoes a special maturation process. The single malt whiskey is first matured in first and second fill bourbon barrels and then refined for 12 months in rare Malaga wine barrels. The finish gives the whiskey its ruby red colour and flavours of exotic summer fruits, which are combined with warm and spicy wood notes.

A smooth and balanced spirit - a fine blend of golden grain and full flavoured malted barley.  Triple-distilled and aged a minimum of three years in bourbon barrels.  Proper No. Twelve offers hints of vanilla, honey-like sweetness and toasted wood.  A proper salute to all.

The Single Pot Still is crafted using a recipe of 50% Unmalted Spring Barley and 50% Malted Barley. A combination of Virgin Oak, Ex-Wine and Ex-Bourbon Barrels give it a citrusy grapefruit on the nose, with a luscious peach, white pepper and lychee palate.

Yellow with golden highlights. Vibrant with notes of melon, figs, toffee and lemon. A balanced mix of dry fruits, citrus, vanilla, spice and cloves. Long finish with sweetness in harmony with dry tannins from the woods.
