The Rare is a Speyside Single-Malt Scotch Whisky - Distilled at Inchgower Distillery 2010.

Grassy, almost apple notes on a bed of raisin highlights Pedro Ximénez sherry. This whisky has layers galore. A fascinating weave of creamy and crisp malts wrap around you as a zesty edge sherried fruit and toffee walnut pillows your taste buds.

Leonor by Antonio Flores is described as the wild child of Jerez. Due to its mysterious ageing process it could be described as similar to an Amontillado on the nose and similar to an Oloroso on the palate. Leonor shows a light mahogany colour with golden tones and slightly orange rim. On the nose intense and complex with typical Amontillado notes such as hazelnuts perfectly balanced with other aromas such as bitter orange and mature oak. On the palate powerful and intense with toasted notes yet smooth and silky.

Introducing the Firkin 49 - The Firkin founder’s favourite selection of softly spoken relaxing
drams.

The 49 is a Highland Single-Malt Scotch Whisky - Distilled at Tullibardine Distillery 2012.

This distillery and the Firkin Founder were both founded in ’49. This is a cracker. It’s kind of long but narrow and jam-packed with creamy butterscotch toffee, crisp malt and some fruit oak. It hangs around with a tad of cinnamon and sweet biscuit.

This is a 21 year old unpeated single malt from Tobermory, which has enjoyed 3 years finishing in oloroso sherry casks before being bottled. 

The nose offers clove-studded orange, dark chocolate, florals and vanilla leading to a palate of prunes walnuts and dark chocolate and a long spice and leather finish.

This release from Kavalan's Solist series has been aged in casks which held the sweetest type of sherry: Pedro Ximenez. This is a warming and fruity whisky with notes of juicy raisins and honey syrup.

This Aberlour has been finished in a first fill oloroso butt and bottled by independent bottler James Eadie.

Nose
Fresh and aromatic roasted coffee, cloves and pepper mingle with strawberries and raspberry jam.

Taste
Soft, rounded fresh strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and redcurrants.

Finish
Thick strawberry jam and clotted cream.

En Rama is a pure expression of dry sherry from Jerez. En Rama roughly translates to 'raw', which is exactly what this is. This wine is extracted from the barrels in Spring, when the flor is at it's thickest. This sherry is unfiltered and unfined. Best drunk fresh, En Rama tastes more intensely nutty and yeasty than the standard Tio Pepe. The palate is complex and fresh with a saline finish.
