Unit price perWolfburn Distillery's fourth small-batch release, named Batch 155. Consisting of just 5300 bottles in total, it is the first whisky from Wolfburn to have been matured in one type of cask (first-fill ex-bourbon barrels for close to five years) then finished in another (six months in port hogsheads).
The results are superb: a smooth, rich, easy drinking whisky, rich in colour and with a depth of sweet flavours from the port influence. Like previous Wolfburn small-batch releases, Batch 155 was named after the warehouse in which the casks were matured (Warehouse 1), and the specific row in which the casks were located (row 55).
Glenlivet First Fill American Oak matured for 13 years in casks made from American white oak, which shaped the sweet character.
Nose: intense aromas of toffee and fresh vanilla at the beginning, followed by aromas of ripe tropical fruits, especially mango and papaya - above all hints of nuts and spicy nutmeg
Taste: mouth-filling - soft and creamy with clear notes of ripe pears and red apples, plus elegant toasted notes of fresh baguette paired with light tones of coconut and citrus
Finish: the finish is from medium length, warming and soft, the nutty tones and vanilla are present - with slightly spicy notes

Unit price perNot strictly a Japanese whisky, Togouchi sources grain whiskies from Scotland and Canada and ages them in Japan.
This is a blend from Chugoku Jozo, who mature their whiskies in a tunnel rather than a warehouse. The temperature of the tunnel is always 15 degrees while the temperature of the cellar at the headquarters in Hatsukaichi city is a little higher than that. Nutty, spicy whisky with a lovely butterscotch mouth feel. On the palate it expresses vanilla sweetness and a fine peat iodine, with hazelnuts and chocolate on the finish. Almost feels like a whisky/bourbon hybrid.

Unit price perWhen you look at the almost transparent color of this Ledaig, you know straight away that the cask will have no influence on its aromatic and taste palette. Both earthy and marine, it is also rustic and at the same time very elegant and easy to access that does not exclude complexity. It expresses in a way that could not be more natural all the paradoxes that make the reputation of this single malt from the Isle of Mull.

Unit price perThe Cardhu 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky "The Scarlet Blossoms of Black Rock". As the fable goes, upon a hill of blackened rock grew a mysterious tree with scarlet blossoms of irresistible charm. Their sweet aroma of honeycomb and spice was so alluring, it transformed the dark hill into lush abundance. Where crimson petals had fallen, a distillery took root. The spellbinding scent filled the air, infusing Cardhu with its distinctively enchanting character.
In this golden malt, white grape and lychee aromas frolic with melodious fruits and meadow flowers. Composed in wine-seasoned wood, it has a heather-honeyed sweetness. Fragrantly, it charms with a creamy smooth texture and perfumed taste, enriched by lush red berries. Smoother still with water, the finish carries a warming pinch of white pepper. Like a single bloom, this Cardhu is remarkable to behold.
Bottled at cask strength from refill American oak casks and finished in red wine casks.
