Teeling 13 Year Old Single Grain epitomises our focus on driving the evolution of Irish Whiskey and being a pioneer in celebrating Irish Single Grain. Crafted using an unconventional mash bill of 95% corn and 5% malted barley that has been triple distilled and matured initially in ex-bourbon casks before being given extra maturation for a further four years in ex-Bordeaux Red Wine Casks. Proudly bottled at 50% with no chill filtration ensures all the true character of the whiskey is retained.

This is the fourth bottling in the Brabazon Bottling Series from Teeling and was distilled in 2007 and aged for 13 years. It spent 2 years in Carcevelos (white port) barrels and was bottled non-chill filtered at 49.5%.

Nose: Very lightly scented with nutty ice cream and sherry.

Palate: Rich dried fruit and chewy toffee, quite a mouth-filling shock after the very delicate nose.

Finish: Fudgy.

A 12 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey. The influence of the Malaga cask brings an exotic sweet note to the whiskey.

Nose: The immediate nose in this unique Irish Whiskey is how thick the aroma is.; This pot still Irish whiskey hints at being much more mature than it's 8 years, you might say this whiskey is an "old soul" thanks to the lovely dustiness and the breath of sherry.; There are subtitle hints of the bourbon wood floating through the nose, but it's masked by the clear vapor of menthol and malt.

Taste: Full bodied, sweet and rich from start to finish.; This is soon blended with a favorable spice, yet all this is balanced keeping Green Spot whiskey soft on the tongue while still punching the taste buds with the hard evidence of the pure pot still malt.
