Master of Malt - Monkey Shoulder Scotch is a superb blended malt whisky from William Grant, made with single malts from three famous Speyside distilleries. The result is a smooth, creamy, supple and very malty Scotch which works superbly well neat, over ice, or in whisky cocktails (where it really excels).

Unit price perYoichi Single Malt is distilled at the Yoichi Distillery, Nikka's first distillery built in 1934. The founder Masataka Taketsuru chose the town of Yoichi in Hokkaido because of the similar environmental conditions to Scotland, where he learned whisky-making (more specifically at the Speyside distillery of Longmorn).
This experssion was released in 2016 as a permanent product that truly captures the authentic style of Yoichi malts, when all age-statements were discontinued. Vatting various different malt whiskies together, this bottling expresses a delicate balance between peaty, smoky and fruity aromas.
Founded in 1998 by WM. Teacher & Sons, The Ardmore distillery has continued to uphold traditional distilling methods, using only the aromatic smoke from natural, Highland peat fires to dry its malted barley.
This 12 year old single malt was initially matured in American white oak bourbon casks before being transferred to Port pipes for a finishing period. Its time in the Port pipes has imparted wine-like sweetness to the whisky, with further hints of juicy grape and flamed orange peel along the way
A non age statement release from one of Speyside's finest distilleries, Glenfarclas. This is an approachable dram at 40% abv but still show the distilleries trademark sherry style albeit with some gorgeous clean bourbon cask influence in there too. It's a fantastic price for such a reputable producer.
Aged for 15 years in hand-picked oak barrels, this Speyside single malt Scotch whisky was distilled using peated malted barley at Tomintoul Distillery, giving that self-acknowledged 'Peaty Tang' uncommon in its region.
Bottled at a smooth 40% ABV, this release marks something of a follow up from this little beauty, only this edition has a declared age statement.

Springbank 10 year is aged in mostly ex-bourbon casks, but a number of sherry barrels are used to give the whisky some character. There are some woody, cedary notes at the start, but ths moves through briny, sea-spray to sweeter red delicious apples and cooking chocolate. We reckon this whisky offers real value - it's non-chill filtered, non-coloured whisky, bottled at 46% - where real whisky starts!

Unit price perAn interesting view of a typically heavier Speyside dram, this expression from Benromach has been triple distilled, a style very rarely seen in Scotch Whisky. Matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks filled in 2011, the nose offers a basket of tropical fruits, with fresh vanilla pods and baked biscuits. The palate brings a trip to the orchard, with ripe green apples and pears in the spotlight, backed by touches of banana and clover honey. Soft smoke and citrus leave you wanting more...
Glenfiddich Fire & Cane is a bold fusion of smoky and sweet notes. By marrying peated whisky and malts matured in bourbon barrels, and then finishing in Latin rum casks, we created an exquisite whisky with campfire smokiness and toffee sweetness.
Fire & Cane is inspired by the early innovation of Glenfiddich Malt Master Brian Kinsman, who in 2003, first ran peated spirit through the Glenfiddich stills, birthing the concept of what would become the innovative Experimental Series.
As the fourth expression of the Experimental Series, Fire & Cane fuses the brand?s smoky whisky with malts that had been maturing side-by-side in bourbon casks, showcasing Glenfiddich?s sweet and fruity signature style. Taking it a step further, all of the whiskies were finished in Latin rum casks to produce a surprising overlay of added caramel toffee sweetness.
