MANSION HOUSE BAY ROSE 21
Mansion House Bay Rosé is a lovely dry pink wine made from 100% Pinot Noir with fresh berry flavours, a medium body and flavour notes of smooth creamy softness on the finish. Drink lightly chilled.
Mansion House Bay wines are named after the first home of New Zealand’s first Governor General, Sir George Grey, who lived in a large mansion house on Kawau Island in the Hauraki Gulf from 1862 to 1888. It's an idyllic, utopian setting, even today with its peacocks still strutting across the palm fringed lawn, but it's a long way from the source of the grapes in these wines, which come from Marlborough.
