Mount Edward's 2019 Riesling is the first Mount Edward Riesling to be made entirely from grapes grown on the organically certified Morrison Vineyard, a special site in Central Otago. It's owned by winemaker and GM of Mt Ed', Duncan Forsyth, a Riesling devotee who has the tattoo to prove it. 

The grapes in this wine were whole bunch pressed and fermented in a mixture stainless steel barrels and stainless tanks with wild yeasts and no temperature control followed by aging on gross less for three months.

Floral and citrus aromas, flavours of lemons, limes, and grapefruit characters, underpinned by mineral characters and refreshing acidity.

13 % alc, medium weight in an off dry style.

an exceptional wine with great purity of lime zest, green apples, honeyed notes and layers of citrusy complexity. It is a dry style, as all Mount Edward wines are.
