Unit price perWinemaker Tony Prichard founded the De La Terre winery with his partner in life and in wine, Kaye Prichard and he began his winemaking career over three decades ago, which has given him extensive experience with red and white winemaking in Hawke?s Bay. He forged his early winemaking career with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, so this wine is a little like coming full circle since he can apply the experience he learned with those varieties to make a full bodied, silky, spicy Syrah, which tastes impressively deep and velvety with its dark fruit flavours. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered to retain maximum concentration.
This smooth, full bodied Syrah drinks well now and will evolve beautifully for up to a decade, probably a lot longer.

Unit price perThis brand-new expression from the Glen Scotia distillery was made entirely from unpeated barley and matured for 10 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks. The distillery's home by the sea brings a maritime character to the aroma, with sea-spray saltiness. Flavours of sweet apple, brown sugar and mellow spices join in, with a creme caramel / vanilla'd tone from the wood. A great introduction to one of the most acclaimed distilleries in Scotland

Unit price perColeraine derives its name from the Coleraine vineyard, home of John and Wendy Buck of Te Mata Estate. John’s late grandfather was born in Coleraine in Northern Ireland and the name has been maintained through the family home to the wine. Originally a single vineyard wine, from 1989 Coleraine has been an assemblage of the finest wines produced from distinct plots within Te Mata Estate’s oldest vineyards on the Havelock Hills.
Te Mata have dubbed the 2023 Coleraine 'The Return of The King'.
In the realm of fine wine, Coleraine is Te Mata’s crowning jewel – a cabernet sauvignon that embodies the essence of the variety’s title: The King of Grapes.
The latest vintage, the illustrious 2023, reigns supreme with a level of expression and finesse as robust as its lineage. A stately example of coastal cabernet, the
Coleraine ’23 harmonizes intricate varietal notes with an elegant structure and a power that feels both balanced and commanding. At its core lies the indomitable characteristics of cabernet – the grape upon which Coleraine’s reign has always been built.
Te Mata’s cabernet collection, sourced from seven noble selections across 24 vineyard parcels, is majestic in the Coleraine ’23 blend, commanding a regal 80% of the composition. Joined by 15% merlot and a touch of 5% cabernet franc, this royal assembly reflects the multitude of soil types and vineyard sites that define our sub-regions. Coleraine is New Zealand’s greatest red wine – a true returning king in every sense.

Unit price perOur Verdejo 100% signature wine is made from vineyards planted between 1962 and 1991. These are family-owned and from selected old vineyards which allows us to blend the soil range complexity from the Appellation of Origin Rueda.
Vineyard: The soil, made up of round pebble layers, low in organic matter, develops some limestone outcrops on the higher levels. The local climate, continental with Atlantic influence, forces the vine roots to go deep in search of water.
Wine making process: Must ferments in stainless steel, concrete and older wooden vats. After fermentation, the wine rests on its lees for four months. This blend is what makes our wine José Pariente Verdejo unique.
Vintage: The year 2020 was defined by mild temperatures in winter and summer, without extreme temperatures and significant rainfalls in the spring. All these elements contributed to a slow and balanced ripering process. These conditions resulted into a vintage 2020 of great intensity and aromatic definition. Fresh fruit (remarkable citrus) and balsamic character (anise flavour and menthol) especially stand out.
Tasting: Brilliant straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. Complex, fresh, elegant and high intense aroma. It has a markedly fruity tone that spans the range of white fruits and citrus. There are also hints of fennel and garrigue on a balsamic aniseed ground. All of it over a mineral base.
On the palate: fresh fruity notes appear again. Unctuous and elegant, with a slight touch of bitterness at the end, typical of Verdejo, backed by a good acidity. Very good structure favours a lingering wine. Complex and intense aftertaste.
Food pairing: Suitable for appetizers, fish, seafood, pasta, rice and white meat. It also pairs well with smoked food, soft cheese and sausage specialties.

Unit price perThis cider is the 3rd release of our original style, made with a touch of sweetness, to balance out the full body. It has spent 18 months in barrel, and is comprised of a blend of both dry and sweet cider batches, from a mix of heritage and desert apples. This blend gives it an impressive intensity, rich tannins, and a balanced sweetness, that should not be cloying. Once the juice is pressed it is left to undergo wild fermentation in old French oak barrels. Post ferment, the cider is aged in barrel, on lees, to build complexity and to soften the tannins. It’s designed to be a cider that delivers more than just sweetness and a light apple flavour, it’s designed to deliver a balance between tannins, sweetness, and alcohol.
This cider is handmade and mildly offensive, but you'll get over it.
