Unit price perCerise 2023 - Barrel aged dark saison with sour cherries [8.2%]
The third vintage of Cerise, our dark saison. We brewed this batch
in June 2020, and it spent over 3 years in a French oak barrel on
Otago sour cherries and Canterbury raspberries. We used the same
barrel as the previous two iterations for this, which now has a
nice resident Brettanomyces culture. We don't inoculate this beer
with bacteria - rather the Brett ferments it out dry, and the sour
cherries and raspberries provide some acidity to give the beer
some refreshing tartness.
$11.50
Unit price perSometimes life gives you another bite of the cherry. If you're really lucky though, you can have a second bite at all sorts of fruit. Two Bites, oak barrel aged beer, fermented with our own house culture and then ‘double dipped’ with second use raspberries and organic heritage plums for a deep, soft fruit flavour. Go on, have another bite.

Unit price perScoundrels and Rogues - Giving someone the cold shoulder shouldn't always be a bad thing, not if it's Ice Cider anyway. If you've never heard of one, don't be ashamed, you're not stupid, they just aren't that common. Made from freeze-concentrated sickly sweet juice, that's fermented and aged in barrels for almost 6 months, it's a sweet, complex, intense, yet refreshing cider, which was bottled without carbonation. Think of it as similar to a dessert wine, to be had after a meal. Breakfast is a meal. I don't judge.
This cider is sweet and devoid of bubbles, but you'll get over it.
