Bordered by picturesque tank farms, beautiful power pylons and a strikingly gorgeous concrete chimney stack, the Sugar Loaf Islands in New Plymouth mark one of New Zealand’s most sublime and lush beach settings - Back Beach.Best accessed at low tide, Parakaki or ‘Seagull Rock’ is a short but treacherous swim away and is home to a secret ‘lagoon’ on its back side - a beautiful rock pool of blue water well below skinny-dip temperatures. Our latest addition is a golden lager. It’s been on our radar for a while, and up till now, it’s impossible to brew. We have found a new yeast specific for zeros that can work well with wheat and barley to brew an all-malt lager. A quality Golden lager needs quality ingredients and this all NZ beer delivers! The grains of Canterbury give the body of Riwaka hops the finish. Enjoy
