Deliciously dry French ros? made from Grenache and Carignan, which are blended together to make this dry, super tasty ros?. It comes from the hot, dry, and extremely sunny Mediterranean wine region of the Languedoc, which winds its way around the southern French coast. This large, sun drenched and languid wine region border Provence to the east and Roussillon to the west, on the Spanish border. 

This is pale pink with fruity aromas of strawberry, sour cherry and grenadine along with citrus aromas.

It begs to be enjoyed lightly chilled with salads, cheese and antipasto platters.

Wild berries and ripe plums combine with complex spicy notes in this super affordable Malbec from the Pays D'Oc in the south of France. Malbec is scarce in the Languedoc region and this wine is made from 30 year old vines, which come from four different vineyards. The vineyards are on the slopes of the Orb Valley for complexity and richness, the foot of Montagne d?Alaric, northern Corbi?res, lends roundness and complexity and central Corbi?res for complexity and spice.

Domaine Gérard Fiou is a family owned Estate that has been passed down for several generations. This old vine Sauvignon Blanc is grown on flinty soils in the Sancerre region of the Loire Valley. The exceptional flinty soils retain the day’s heat, keeping the vines at a moderate temperature at night which allows for even maturing of the Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The nose is characteristic of Sancerre with aromas of flinty minerality and delicate spice. The palate is powerful in fruit and in body. Generous acidity brings balance and seriousness to this wine.

Tasting notes:

Deep garnet red with purple highlights. Good intensity, mixing ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) with flattering toasty and spicy notes when agitated. Round and smooth on the palate with velvety tannins. Long fruity aftertaste with notes of vanilla and licorice.

Food matches:

Grilled red meat, pasta, spicy dishes and cheese.

Winemaking: Classic vinification process with long maceration and partly ageing in oak. De-stalking and crushing of the grapes – alcoholic fermentation in vats with rack and return twice a day (temperature carefully controlled to reach 27°C / 81°F at the end of the fermentation) – micro oxygenation before malolactic fermentation to enhance the color and to supple the tannins.

Soil: The different terroirs (clay and limestone in Limoux and gravels in the Gard) add complexity and richness to the wine.

Climate: Selection of vines located in the coolest areas of the Languedoc region near Limoux (wide temperature range between cool nights and warm days) and in the Gard region where the weather is warmer.
Aging: Malolactic fermentation in vats.

Tasting notes:

Straw gold yellow. Fine and elegant nose mixing white fruit aromas (pear, quince) with vanilla notes. Fruit driven on the palate, the attack is fresh, followed by a round and supple texture. Flattering oaky notes appear on the aftertaste.

White meat, poultry, salads and pasta.

Winemaking: Night and morning harvest. Gentle crushing of the grapes – short maceration on the skin (between 6 and 12 hours) in order to get aromatic complexity – light pressing – pre-fermenting oxygenation of one part of the Chardonnay to keep freshness – controlled Alcoholic fermentation in vats (18-20°C / 65-68°F)

This lovely dry Sauvignon Blanc has delicious bright fruit flavours and a French-Kiwi connection as it is made in the Loire Valley, France, by a family that also owns a winery in Marlborough. 

Flavours here are remarkably aromatic on the nose with floral and fruit aromas of citrus, apple and gooseberry aromas with hints of passionfruit on the palate.

Chardonnay Rose is a pink-skinned, aromatic variety that the Tissots found in one of their vineyards. A selection massale was planted in their Mailloche, Curon, and Bruyères parcels. This is a very rare example of this grape, from one of France's most beloved regions. Pair this dry white with Morbier and Morteau sausages.

This Pouilly Fumé is grown on chalky clay vineyards grown on sloping hillsides in the Loire Valley. This wine has a floral and smoky character which flatters the fruity aroma, roundness and long, flinty finish.

This fresh and fruity wine, made from 100% Chenin Blanc is a perfect match for white fish or an excellent aperitif. The nose is lemony and fresh, with green apple, honey notes, and a touch of floral complexity. This is a dry and mineral Vouvray, with moderate acidity and a medium-full body. Beautiful dry, refreshing, concentrated French Chenin Blanc with intense flavours of green apples, apricots, honey and white floral aromas. This outstanding wine comes  from one of the smallest and highest quality wine regions on the northern side of the Loire, which is dedicated entirely to the great white Chenin Blanc. 

This wine is great drinking now and will age well for the next two decades.
