Triple Hazy Jane is awash with a melee of soft ripe fruit flavours spanning from peach to mango to apricot. Beneath the juicy hops is a low bitterness that’s complemented by flashes of light resin and glimmering hints of pine.

Every ingredient is from Japan — the Sachiho Golden barley is grown locally in Yamaguchi, while the Ibuki hops come from Iwate and Miyagi. The resulting flavors range from bitter to candy-like, with faint citrus aromas. Pairs easily with eastern and western cuisines.

The rich, full-bodied flavor is derived from wheat. Carefully controlling the temperature during fermentation yields a mild malty sweetness with hints of clove and subtle fruity aromas, contrasting with a light sourness reminiscent of green apples. Pairs well with Japanese food like sashimi and simmered dishes, as well as bangers.

There is no beer. Only Void to the curious, Void is a slushy-style sour with tart black fruits and toasty dark malts. Dark Cherry, Blackberry, Blackcurrant, Boysenberry, and Black Passionfruit. All juiced and added during conditioning. A roasty malt base with heavy additions of rye, black, and carafe malt give an almost light-absorbing blackness. Fermented with cherry skins, mixed lactobacillus culture, and European ale yeast. The result from our dabuiltle in dark magic ends in a prize that is black, pulpy, viscous, and over the top decadent.

Van Honsebrouck is a family owned brewery in West Flanders Belgium. It makes a range if beers including Bacchus, a beer in the local style of the region. It is on this beer that the kriek and framboise is based, a premium fruit beer for which Belgium is well known. Hand wrapped and presented in half champagne bottles. This is a remarkable beer.

Leffe Bruin is a traditional Belgian abbey beer with a deep brown colour and a full, sweet and fruity aroma. Ingredients include dark and torrefied malt, corn, water, hops and yeast.

A deep brown coloured beer with reddish tones and a thick light-tan coloured head. This beer smells somewhat nutty and the taste starts with a slightly hoppy bite, followed up by the sweetness of brown sugar. The beer is lightly carbonated and is very smooth, making it easy to drink.

The newest edition to the Samichlaus line up is a Schwarzbier. Also brewed on December 6th, and aged for 10 months, Schwarzbier means “black beer” in German. It has flavors of spicy rye, dark oak and subtle smoke that balances quite nicely with more bittering and aroma hops than in prior versions of Samichlasus.
