Drawing inspiration from the shoegaze music genre—known for its lush layers of distortion and dreamy reverb—we’ve crafted a brew that perfectly complements the hazy nature of NEIPAs.

 Big City Hazy IPA 6.2%

 Big City is a tropical trip, distorted by haze, and buzzy as a droning synth. Resonating layers of Mosaic, with licks of Motueka and Galaxy hops deliver a psychedelic fruit salad packed with mango, guava, pineapple, lime, and apricot. This is not a beer that can stay underground for very long. After all, every flavour we love can be found here.

4.9% ABV.

Our multi award winning extra pale ale. Super refreshing with punchy hop character and a bright balanced finish.

This is a relatively new release beer which has a similar malt base as Dragon. We then added 3 dependable, classic NZ hops in Nelson Sauvin, Moutere and Riwaka in the boil and dry hop, to showcase the unique aromas of flavours of our NZ hops.

The Good Fight beer - Sunupper (Hazy pale ale) 5%

The Good Fight is a series of collaborative brews creating positive change in the New Zealand brewing industry. All profits go towards building educational resources for New Zealand breweries, with help from Pink Boots NZ, NZ Beer Fam & RespectED.

Fuelled by love and sunshine, Sun-upper is brewed with a harmonious blend of Riwaka, Nelson Sauvin, and Mosaic hops providing a burst of tropical and citrus flavours. Cheers to sunny vibes in every glass!

THIS BEER IS RATHER NEAT, WE USE A BUNCH OF CANTERBURY WHEAT WITH SOME BARLEY TOO. A LUSCIOUS FRUIT SALAD OF NZ HOPS MAKES FOR 100% LOCAL UNFILTERED DELICIOUSNESS. WOULD YOU LOOK AT THE TIME, IT'S QUAFF O'CLOCK!

Beer? Na Beer. What looks like beer, tastes like beer and can be consumed in great volumes with no downside ?(apart from the toilet trips). It’s 0 Pale Ale!! And it’s your future for 10 hour BBQ sessions and road trips. Dry July here we come!

In 2022, we released our own gluten free version of our flagship beer, Punk IPA. This light, golden classic has been subverted with new world hops to create an explosion of flavour. Bursts of caramel and tropical fruit with an all-out riot of grapefruit, pineapple and lychee, precede a spiky bitter finish. When it comes to brewing gluten free beer, we start the process in the normal way, using malted barley to make our wort (a sugary-sweet liquid that forms the fermentable base of our beer). The removal of gluten comes later in the process through an enzymatic addition. The introduction of this enzyme works its magic by binding all of the gluten in that beer, so when we filter the beer the gluten gets filtered out in the process. There’s no witchcraft involved in the process. As our Head of Quality says, ‘it’s just simple chemistry’.

Biscuity pilsner malt and distinctive Motueka and Riwaka hops bringing aromas of lemon and lime. Nelson Sauvin for a tart gooseberry hit. Straw coloured appearance, brilliantly clear, with a long lasting white head. Crisp and bitter. Medium dry finish.

Armageddon is the pinnacle of impish brewer Luke Nicholas's obsession with American hops! This 6.66% abv beer hits you in the face with massive aromas of lychee, gooseberry, and grapefruit before filling your mouth with resinous citrusy hop flavours and a firm malt profile.

From NZ's first dedicated non-alcoholic craft brewery, State of Play, comes a Double Dry Hopped Pale Ale. Double the hops.  Double the brewtiful beery bitterness. Nectaron is a new hop from NZ Hops that has the complete Kiwi signature - it is very fresh, fruity and fun (and yum).  A lot of Nectaron is added as a 'Dry Hop'.  This is at the very end of the brewing process.  Hops added at the very end of brewing will give you the upfront aroma and flavour.

Using a special yeast, this beer is naturally brewed, retaining all the flavour while only producing a tiny amount of alcohol - in this UNFILTERED PALE ALE it is only 0.3% ABV.

WE HAVE USED A HEDONISTIC AMOUNT OF DELICIOUS HOPS ON AN ALE AND TOFFEE MALT BACKBONE. CHARGE YOUR GLASS; LIFE NEEDS MORE CHEERS!

THE BIG THREE C’S OF THE HOP KINGDOM—COLUMBUS, CENTENNIAL, AND CASCADE HOPS—ALONG WITH THEIR KIWI COUSIN, NELSON SAUVIN, ARE BREWED ON A TOFFEE AND CRYSTAL BASE, RESULTING IN A WELL-BALANCED, ALL-AROUND IPA.

THIS NZ IPA IS A BASSINET WOVEN FROM PILSNER, LAGER AND CRYSTAL MALTS THAT CRADLES THE BRIGHT, BOLD AND SPRIGHTLY FLAVOURS OF WAIMEA, NELSON SAUVIN, RIWAKA AND NECTARON.

ICE COLD LEMON AND LIME BITTERS, PINK GRAPEFRUIT, PASSIONFRUIT FRUIT MEDLEY WHIRL OF MEDICINAL DANKNESS AND FRESH CUT GRASS.
