Like its basket mates, Wicker Basket Tropical Sour is all about fruit! This time, tangerine and pink guava mingle ever-so nicely. From its fluffy white head with lovely lacing to its juicy tangerine palate underpinned by ripe guava notes, it's delightfully tart and refreshing. Crack a can, get your toes in the sand and - boom - summer in Waipu is a sip away.

Blackberry Farmhouse sour Barrel fermented with spontaneous culture and more blackberries .

Rodenbach Fruitage is a blend of aged ale, young ale and 9% red fruit, which gives it its sweet-sourness and fruity notes. Pure refreshment.

Terroir Blend 2019 is a blend of 2 year old spontaneously fermented beer from Garage Project's Wild Workshop and 1 and 3 year old  spontaneously fermented beer from Craftwork. A bit different to previous blends we have done which are usually a blend of multiple one year old spons. It was bottled in 2020.

6.0% ABV.

Kriek Mariage Parfait is an “Old Style Kriek” of exceptional excellence, brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name.  It is unsweetened, unfiltered, unpasteurised and has no artificial flavours, preservatives or colourings added.

Dominated by loads of fresh tart cherry notes with some mild barnyard and some vanilla notes,  balanced against a backdrop of musky roasted oak.

'Smuggler Bay' Series - "We aged some of our Hot Curl-Hibiscus sour with Brettanomyces Bruxellensis. Then we added local bush honey and fresh raspberries. This myriad of flavours has produced a unique ale full of red berry fruits, soft chamomile aromas and a soft, pleasant acidity with underlying notes of beeswax-tinted honey. Expect the fruitiness to fade over time and more funky flavours to develop."

'Smuggler Bay' Series - Breadalbane Barrel-aged Blended Sour is an enticing blend of numerous sour beer vintages from our barrel program, the majority being former Marlborough Chardonnay casks. Aromas of grapefruit & dank gooseberry lead to a soft sourness hinting at oak & vanilla. Finish 

6.7% ABV

In large oak barrels of more than a hundred years, lambic from all four corners of the PAJOTTENLAND ripens for years. Especially for you, lambic of 1, 2 and 3 years old was carefully tested, mixed and bottled. This Geuze only contains wheat, barley malt and hops. Not pasteurized and spontaneously refermented in the bottle.

Spicy Cucumber Dill Pickle Sour

We’re turning up the heat, and doubling down on dill. Say hello to Spicy Pickle Beer! A cucumber dill pickle sour, with a fiery twist.

Naturally kettle soured, infused with cucumber, dill, pickle spice and fired up with a generous mouthwatering addition of red hot chilli peppers.

Spicy, refreshing and disarmingly delicious. Crack a can and dial up the heat!

4.3% ABV.

The seventh dip of our Liquid Series: A pure, unadulterated focus on complete flavour saturation. Introducing Liquid Banana - Using every banana product and process available to brewers right now we've laid down a brew in honour of one of our favourite adjuncts, something we use a lot here at the brewery. Thick and creamy, with a touch of Papua Vanilla to round it off. Yum!

7.2% - Raspberry & Plum Sour 

Sometimes life gives you another bite of the cherry. If you're really lucky though, you can have a second bite at all sorts of fruit. Two Bites, oak barrel aged beer, fermented with our own house culture and then ‘double dipped’ with second use raspberries and organic heritage plums for a deep, soft fruit flavour. Go on, have another bite.

Prepare for lift-off —a cosmic swirl of juicy blackcurrant, tangy raspberry and plump blueberry, all folded through clouds of marshmallow fluff and silky coconut cream. Scattered cocoa nibs add a whisper of dark chocolate shibby, while ripe banana lends a mellow sweetness. A dreamy dessert-in-a-can takes your taste buds on a lunar adventure that's utterly otherworldly.

APPLE & FEIJOA CRUMBLE SOUR

Apple and Feijoa just go together. Sweet, tart and juicy with impeccable good taste.
Add a sprinkle of brown sugar, a dash of cinnamon and a few drops of vanilla balanced by a biscuity malt base and you’ve got this fruity and delicious dessert-style sour beer.

Yet again, a classic DVB bear-beer pun. The goals aside from fun and flavour? We wanted a sour beer that would be just as good for Winter as Summer. Cola seemed like a great direction for an abstract and fun challenge, so we got our thinking caps on and the result is an adult version of that familiar flavour we all know and love!
