Westie Sponge Three is a 1st fill sherry butt of 1999 Springbank. Fully matured in Campbeltown for 24 years and bottled at natural cask strength.
This is a particularly powerful and rugged example of Springbank. Very coastal and salty, with a leathery, nutty and almost tarry sherry profile, and then layers of familiar waxiness, mineral oils and soft, background peat smoke underneath. The whole thing is drenched in distillery character and is beautifully evocative of the west highlands.
Nose: Tarred leather, smoked walnuts, aged pipe tobacco, and dried dark fruits lead into fresh salinity and classical Springbank character.
Nutty, drying, and earthy old sherry blends seamlessly with waxiness and soft, peppery peat smoke in the background.
Palate: A remarkable texture with waxy, tarry richness. Flavours of mineral oil, sandalwood, cured meats, candied citrus peels, and walnut wine evolve into coastal notes of smoked olive oil, salted almonds, and herbal peat reminiscent of eucalyptus and cough syrup.
Finish: Exceptionally long, balancing medicinal and umami elements with squid ink, ointments, tar liqueur, resinous fir wood, and camphor. The fresh, coastal aftertaste lingers gloriously.

This is Whisky Sponge Edition No.100. It’s a 2016 and 2017, 7 year old Ardnamurchan small batch.

Distilled in 2009, this 12-year-old Glendullan has been aged first in Bourbon casks and then in Côte-Rôtie casks from the Rhone Valley in France. Expect some clean vanilla and green apples from the Bourbon, matched with red fruit notes from the red wine cask.
The third release in Wolfburn's Kylver series features the runic symbol Thurs, which roughly translates as thorn or giant. This is one of the runic symbol found on the Kylver stone which the series is named after. this limited-edition Highland single malt has been matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, creating aromas of vanilla, angelica root, waxy fruit and charred oak on the nose. The palate offers notes of crunchy brown sugar, fried bananas, oily walnut and a hint of something smoky.
This limited-edition release was originally matured in traditional Oak hogsheads before being finished in Agave Tequila casks.
The tequila used to create this expression originally held high-quality 100% agave tequila produced from 7-8 year-old Agave tequilana var. Weber (blue agave) grown exclusively in the Altos (Highlands) region of Jalisco. Tequilas from the Highlands, such as this, are known for their more fruity and floral character.
The casks held the same style of tequila for four to five fills, being disgorged both as Reposado (aged for just under one year) and Añejo (aged up to 3 years).
The fruity floral notes delivered from this cask selection complements the citrusy, waxy versatile character of Deanston beautifully.
Nose: Fresh. Notes of ripe pineapple, crème brulee, mixed nuts and light oak.
Palate: Rich, yet dry on the palate. Bursting with flavours of caramelised agave, toasted almonds, baked apples with custard and warming spice.
Finish: Long finish with brown spice and sweet, citrus bursts.

Unit price perA 16 Year Old bottling of Old Pulteney which has been treated to a double maturation! Having been aged in both American oak bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry-seasoned Spanish oak casks, the fruity and spicy nature of the casks compliment the maritime malt very well
This is a wonderfully rich and complex single malt. Opening with rich and spicy aromas of crème brulee, heather honey and crumbled cinnamon, intensely fruity notes follow - fresh pineapple dressed with a scattering of sun-kissed lemon zest. There’s a hint of freshly-baked sponge cake too, warm from the oven, and you’ll find cinnamon again, but toasted shards this time. Citrus and vanilla notes linger in the aromatic waves of peat smoke.
To create 15 Year Old Viking Heart, Gordon Motion, Highland Park's Master Whisky Maker, selected predominantly sherry seasoned European oak casks to deliver warm, spicy notes and sherry seasoned American oak casks to provide a balance of sweet vanilla. Expertly adding just a few refill casks to soften and smooth the flavours, Gordon chose to bottle at 44% ABV to allow the whisky’s vibrant fruitiness and distinctive heathery peat smoke to shine through. Why a ceramic decanter? Rewind a century or two and Highland Park whisky would have been stored in earthenware vessels. Inspired by examples found at their distillery in Orkney, Highland Park asked Wade Ceramics if they could work with them to create a modern version. Established in 1810 and based in Stoke-on-Trent in England (known globally as the traditional home of ceramics) Wade share Highland Park's commitment to environmental responsibility, focusing on sustainable manufacturing and using locally sourced raw materials. The lead-free porcelain decanter is 100% food safe, glazed inside and out, and embossed with the lion and serpent design that appears on many of Highland Park's glass bottles. Look closely at the back of the bottle and you’ll find the heart motif that inspired this whisky’s name.
