The Muscat Petit grain (called Muscat d’Alsace in our region) has proven to be well adapted to the warmer climate of the recent vintages. Both colours (red and white produce a white wine) are planted on the gravelly/silt alluvial soil near the winery. Physiological ripeness is very important in order to avoid excessive varietal characteristics. The climate of Turckheim is therefore well adapted as the grapes reach an ideal ripeness at a lower alcohol potential, allowing the wine to ferment quickly completely dry. It’s natural elegance and lightness make it so easy to enjoy young.

We endeavour to dispatch orders the next business day, couriers can take 1 to 2 business days to deliver to non-rural addresses and 2 to 3 days to deliver to rural addresses.
Exceptions during December:
In December, please allow 3 business days for delivery. The last day for Christmas orders is Monday, 15th December for all South Island and all rural deliveries, and Wednesday, 17th December for North Island non-rural deliveries. After these dates Regional Wines cannot guarantee delivery before 25th December. Bear in mind that business delivery addresses may be shut from Monday 23rd December as Xmas falls on a Thursday.
