A hoppier take on a classic style. Luppolo is a crisp, hoppy pilsner. Generously hopped with modern German varieties, Perle, Callista and Saphir to provide a subtle layer of citrus and punchy stone fruit, tempered with pleasant bitterness. Bellissimo!

Hazy Pale Ale with a fresh and fruity burst from an eclectic mix of NZ and US hops. We kept it pretty relaxed on the ABV but it still jams out a punch for you hazy heads. A chill brew to make the birds sing whether the sun is shining or not.

Brave Old World is a new series of 8 Wired Beers, historic styles brought back to life in modern New Zealand. This is the fifth beer in this series, a Munich Helles Lager, inspired by the classic pale lagers of Germany.

Summer days and punchy bold hop vibes. This West Coast IPA shines bold colourful beams of malt that shimmer off big waves of Simcoe, Centennial, Columbus and Mosaic hops crashing against your tastebuds.

A very special "Imperial Gueuze" inspired blend of selected barrels from our library. One third each of spontaneously fermented 8, 6, and 4 year old barrels create a perfect marriage of funk, fruit, acidity and sherry-like aged flavours. We barrel aged our first beer in 2010 since then we have built up maybe the largest barrel programme in the Southern Hemisphere . Naturally soured by live cultures and hopped with American and New Zealand hops. Probably the closest thing I have tasted to fruit juice, that didn't contain any fruit at all!

Pinnacle NZ Pilsner

We’ve been on a journey to find the pinnacle of NZ hops, so when we discovered experimental Bract NZH-106, we knew we had to brew the perfect beer for it. This quintessential New Zealand pilsner is fresh, bright, and thirst-quenching, with tropical hops and a bready backbone. It’s all down-hill from here, because this trip starts at the pinnacle. 

This complex brown sour beer was inspired by the traditional Oud Bruin styles of West Flanders, Belgium. Aged in a single large oak foudre (vat) for 5 Years, a collection of wild yeast and bacteria go to work, slowly transforming the beer. The result is a unique beer, with a chocolatey-malt base mixed with sherry, leather, tobacco and a hint of smoke. Lactic acid bacteria add a distinct tartness, and Brettanomyces provide that classic wild funk.
