Brimming with luscious roasted coffee and chocolate malt flavours, iStout is balanced by a brisk bitterness and bold hoppy freshness.
As with all our beers, this beer is a very modern interpretation of this classic style.

A hoppier take on a classic style. Luppolo is a crisp, hoppy pilsner. Generously hopped with modern German varieties, Perle, Callista and Saphir to provide a subtle layer of citrus and punchy stone fruit, tempered with pleasant bitterness. Bellissimo!

Hazy Pale Ale with a fresh and fruity burst from an eclectic mix of NZ and US hops. We kept it pretty relaxed on the ABV but it still jams out a punch for you hazy heads. A chill brew to make the birds sing whether the sun is shining or not.

A trailblazer when first released in 2009, Hopwired was one of the world's first IPAs to be brewed exclusively with New Zealand hops. Today it's as unique as ever, delivering an enticing punchbowl of tropical fruit, citrus and gooseberry flavours balanced by mouth-filling caramel malt sweetness.

An indulgently decadent imperial stout, enhanced by the addition of miso paste and vanilla. To create this culinary delight, we've curated a complex malt bill, with plenty of chocolate and roasted malts. A very special "Imperial Gueuze" inspired blend of selected barrels from our library. One third each of spontaneously fermented 8, 6, and 4 year old barrels create a perfect marriage of funk, fruit, acidity and sherry-like aged flavours. We barrel aged our first beer in 2010 since then we have built up maybe the largest barrel programme in the Southern Hemisphere . BERLINER WEISSE

We've remixed this love-child of a Berliner Weisse and an IPA with bushels of sweet, legendary and local Ike's Mandarins. American and New Zealand hops deliver juicy fruit flavours and gentle bitterness, while live cultures create a natural thirst-quenching sourness to the beer. The result is juicy, bold, light, and totally outta sight.
Cold IIPA
8% ABV
Hop into a crate-smashing, wumpa-grabbing, crystal-collecting adventure! This Imperial Cold IPA, brewed for the annual WCIPA Challenge at Malthouse, is cold fermented for a super-smooth, crisp finish. In classic WCIPA fashion, we’ve packed this beer with Nectaron, Simcoe, Citra and Cryo Mosaic hops for a huge burst of bright citrus and pine. Packs more punch than a butt-kicking bandicoot!
This complex brown sour beer was inspired by the traditional Oud Bruin styles of West Flanders, Belgium. Aged in a single large oak foudre (vat) for 5 Years, a collection of wild yeast and bacteria go to work, slowly transforming the beer. The result is a unique beer, with a chocolatey-malt base mixed with sherry, leather, tobacco and a hint of smoke. Lactic acid bacteria add a distinct tartness, and Brettanomyces provide that classic wild funk.

A refreshing, light, hoppy, sour and very fruity tasting beer inspired by traditional Berliner Weisse ales.
Naturally soured by live cultures and hopped with American and New Zealand hops. Probably the closest thing I have tasted to fruit juice, that didn't contain any fruit at all!
