The beer that built a brewery. This is an all NZ hopped English style IPA where the ABV is lower and the malt presence is higher than other more modern counterparts. Orange brown pour with a dense white head and a medley of NZ hop aromas. Some caramel meldanoidins back up this aroma and deliver the toasty, malty palate of the english style. Medium to full body with an assertive bitterness.

5.5% ABV.

This NZ IPA is like a long drive along the west coast, beautiful and classically Kiwi with clean green pungent hop aromas. A clear gold pour takes you to a clean maltiness and a smooth palate with a mild bitterness to round off the journey.

Our IPA is crisp and fruity with honey and citrus undertones. More English than American in style, Stoke IPA is tank-conditioned over four weeks to enhance the smooth, caramel sweetness. It is light but a step up in hop intensity from our Pilsner.

Beer Isbjorn Pilsner LOW CARB Mack 4.5% 500m

Low Gluten, Low Sugar, Low Carb! Tasting Notes: Isbjørn LOW CARB is brewed from a recipe containing less malt than the original Isbjørn, resulting in a beer with less calories. It has 70 % less carbohydrates and 30 % less sugar than Isbjørn, but has the same good taste. This is a pale, refreshing pilsner beer with a pleasant, characteristic hoppy flavor. Isbjørn is the perfect companion to grilled meat dishes, and a fantastic thirst quencher on a hot summer day. Also this beer has less than 10ppm of Gluten.

Beer Red Lager Low Carb Isbjorn 4.5% 500ml

Isbjørn Lite Red Lager is brewed using a method that reduces the amount of carbohydrates by 70 %, and the number of calories by 30 %, compared to regular lager beer. Isbjørn Lite Red Lager has a caramelized malt character and a balanced bitterness. The beer has a golden, red color. The red color comes from a special paint called "RedActive", which is produced in Finland.

Gluten-reduced

The Tobermory 20 years old is an old Isle of Mull singel malt. This release is matured in ex bourbon casks followed by a sherry cask finish. Bottled at 46.3% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: rich and warm with molasses, golden syrup, mulled wine, nutmeg, walnuts, sultanas and dates

Palate: oak with caramelized oranges marmalade, vanilla, dried fruit, hazelnuts and dark chocolate

Finish: long and sweet with nuts, apricots and orange jam

Crater Rim is a small and high quality winery in the Waipara Valley in the heart of North Canterbury and this is a lovely earthy expression of Pinot Noir from this wine region. 

Savoury layers of smoked mushrooms and bright red cherry flavours combine in this lively red. Drinks well now and can improve for the next two to three years. 

Un-oaked Chardonnay made with grapes sourced from throughout the Central Otago region and exhibiting the region's natural elegant fruit flavours and mineral complexity. The wine is fermented in tank to retain its bright fruit and is left to rest on its yeast lees to gain some doughy complexity and softness. This is a refreshing full-bodied wine, unencumbered by oak and superb with food.
