A soft, smooth, spicy Pinot Noir with red fruit flavours, a medium body and lithe mouthfeel. This Pinot Noir is Margrain's entry level Pinot and is made with grapes grown south of Martinborough village on a terrace vineyard site on stony soils. It offers good value for money from one of the country's leading Pinot Noir regions. 

Martinborough is home to many refreshingly dry Pinot Gris and this example from Margrain offers great drinking with a silky smooth mouthfeel and lingering finish. Very good Pinot Gris made in small volumes from one of Martinborough's oldest wineries and most experienced winemakers, Strat Canning.

Lindemans Kriek is created by adding fresh black cherries to a Lambic that is 6 month’s old. The addition of fruits provokes a new fermentation in the oak barrels and after another 8 to 12 months, only peels and stones are left and the Kriek-Lambic is ready to be filtered and bottled.

Fuoripista narrates an alternative route, a pathway out of the common, a
different perception and vision of nature. Fuoripista Pinot Grigio arises from
the cooperation of Foradori and Marco Devigili, biodynamic winegrower of
the Campo Rotaliano, and expresses the essence of a variety widely diffused
in Trentino. More than 8 months of skin contact in amphorae (tinajas from
Villarrobledo, Spain) liberates and emphasizes the delicate character of this
Pinot Grigio.

The Cask Strength expression retains the signature front-of-the-palate flavours of Maker's Mark, but adds a little extra power and flavour. As water evaporates from the barrels as the whisky slumbers, the proof increases. But thanks to the Kentucky climate, summer temperatures can fluctuate wildly, meaning the amount of whisky that gets evaporated, or the angel's share also differs. As a result, the proof of each barrel is different. This bourbon is one for the true connoisseurs, unaltered, uncut and unparalleled.

Leffe Bruin is a traditional Belgian abbey beer with a deep brown colour and a full, sweet and fruity aroma. Ingredients include dark and torrefied malt, corn, water, hops and yeast.

A deep brown coloured beer with reddish tones and a thick light-tan coloured head. This beer smells somewhat nutty and the taste starts with a slightly hoppy bite, followed up by the sweetness of brown sugar. The beer is lightly carbonated and is very smooth, making it easy to drink.

Long before hops were common in most beers, various fruits and vegetables were used to season beers. The acidity of Lambic beers blends perfectly with raspberries. Taste: Magnificent aroma, delicate palate of raspberries with undertones of fruity acidity; elegant, sparkling clean natural taste.

Tasting Notes

Profound raspberry and sugar aroma. Plum and pink color with thin head and decent lacing. Malty intro with some carbonation evident in the mouth. Initial raspberry flavor is subtle and smooth on the tongue but soon becomes bittersweet in the aftertaste. Made a raspberry shortcake once with this beer and raspberries and it was pretty good!

This apricot liqueur uses the delicious "Bergeron" apricot. Harvested in August in the Rhone valley, Briottet leaves the apricots to macerate for more than two months in a mixture of water and very fine neutral alcohol to produce this exceptional fruit liqueur.

This is the 15 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Glen Scotia in the Campbeltown region, released in 2015 as part of a redesign for their range. The distillers use specially selected American oak casks to age this expression, which compliment the fruit-forward and subtly coastal whisky rather well.

Traditionally made using the dried peel of the small Curacao orange, named after the island of Curacao in the Caribbean, Curacao liqueurs can be clear, blue or orange. The colours are purely decorative, but the bitter orange flavours are very similar. The cura?ao fruits are sliced and macerated in fine neutral spirit to extract the flavours. A blend of rums aged 7 to 23 years old from Bacardi's premium Fagundo label, named after the founder of the company. It has been finished for at least a month in Sherry casks.

Nose: Dried fruit, dried pineapple, banana, walnut, treacle, vanilla and oak.

Palate: More relaxed, toffee'd and spiced. Molasses, pepper, allspice.

Finish: Spicy, rich oak and espresso.

Our feathered friends see the world differently. Through birds’ eyes, things might look almost psychedelic to us, with heightened colours and fresh hues forming a surprising new spectrum. This hazy, citrus and stonefruit accented IPA with a mellow, soft and silky texture gives a similarly refreshing change of perspective.
