Blueberry Spice Gin is the latest chapter in our Tales of a Forager series — a journey of adventure, rarity, and imagination.

IMAGINATION - Distilled in an 8 plate fractionating column still.  Juniper and coriander are complemented by the leafy earthiness of manuka to create the heart of this gin.  Whole New Zealand oranges and lemons add a refreshing citrus aroma and cinnamon and licorice leave a sweet lingering spice finish.

Each label tells the story of the ingredients, the place or the people behind what's in the bottle.  This label was inked by Juse from Taupou Tatau tattoo studio, Wellington, New Zealand.

Weihenstephaner Vitus Bock pours cloudy blond golden yellow. Bright white colored, foamy head and very nice legs with equally sexy lace. Aroma of freshly picked bananas. Dominate banana aroma. Some mustard seed, a nice clove and a touch of honey sweetness in the nose as well. Very grainy wheat flavor yields a nice bit of sweetness. Lots of fruity yeast esters. Finishes with a lingering spiciness of black pepper. A nice calming alcoholic presence. Creamy texture, very smooth on the palate. Full bodied. Dangerously drinkable.

This sake delivers a delightful dash of citrus with its 10% yuzu juice. The yuzu’s enlivening aroma and vibrant acidity bring a pleasant citrus kick without any bitterness. This is done through a combination of straining to remove the bitter oil from the yuzu, and a low-temperature pasteurization method usually used for high-end sake. Tsukasabotan “Yuzu” makes for a delicious aperitif and pairs with dishes containing squeezed citrus fruit.

Peach

Duchesee de Bourgogne is the traditional top fermented reddish-brown ale from the West-Flanders region of Belgium. This refined ale also known as "The Burgundies of Belgium" is a blend of 8 and 18 months old ales following careful maturation in oak casks. 100% natural and unpasteurized.

This is a blend of predominantly Viognier and Marsanne made by highly regarded Rhone producer, E. Guigal. Bright golden in the glass, with aromas of white flowers, ripe apricot and peach. On the palate, the wine is rich and full bodied, with intense yet balanced fruitiness. This wine punches above its weight in elegance and richness.

Coruba Jamaica Rum is proud to be 100% natural and 100% Jamaican. The original Coruba Dark Rum, inspired by the dark Planter’s style rums for which Jamaica is known, is a blend of pot and column still rums that has been aged for at least two years in American oak barrels. The result is an authentic rum that’s dark by nature but light in spirit, offering an approachability ideal for a traditional Planter’s Punch or any cocktail worthy of a dark rum float.  Joining the original Dark Rum, are Coruba Spiced Rum and Coruba Coconut Rum, both made with 100% natural flavors and crafted with sunset cocktails in mind.

Ouzo 12 is the Ouzo with the extraordinary aroma of history and tradition. Every single bottle is representative of the soul of Greece. It took its name in 1880 at the Kaloyannis Distillery from "Barrel No12". This extract was preferred for its rich taste and its delicate aroma. Today, it still keeps the same taste that makes Ouzo12 one of the most consumed varieties of this aniseed-flavoured spirit of Greek tradition worldwide.

Disaronno Originale unbeknownst to most is not actually amaretto which is why it has been removed from it’s label. It is amaretto flavored, with a characteristic bittersweet almond taste. Disaronno claims its “originale” amaretto’s “secret formula” is unchanged from the year 1525, and claims the Luini tale as its own particular history. Its production remains in Saronno, but the product is sold worldwide. The company describes its amaretto as an infusion of “apricot kernel oil” with “absolute alcohol, burnt sugar, and the pure essence of seventeen selected herbs and fruits”; the product does not contain any almonds or other nuts.

This Reserve Cabernet Franc is very robust with plenty of fruit on the nose along with some fine, dark red berry aromas. The barrel maturation has given a style with dark red fruit, cassis, sweet cedar and spice characteristics and that floral perfume characteristic of the Cabernet Franc variety.

El Jimador - el Jimador Reposado begins with 100% hand-harvested blue Weber agave, naturally fermented and double distilled. Then it enjoys a two-month siesta in our own handmade American oak barrels until the perfect moment. The results are worth the wait: an exquisite golden tone, warm seasoned flavors and a smooth, confident agave flavor that really shines through.
