A variation of Kura The Whisky blended malt whisky, which has enjoyed a finishing period in casks that previously held rum. We're rather fold of rum cask finished whiskies, as they help to bolster any lip-smacking fruit notes - and that's exactly what has happened here.

Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit Single Barrel 1L

The company's 'Kentucky Spirit' is a limited release, 101°proof release drawn from a single barrel. Each barrel is hand-selected at the peak of maturity before the bourbon is poured out and bottled.

A stickler for quality, Jimmy Russell personally selects each of the barrels used. His challenge is to find single barrels that capture the essence of Wild Turkey, while at the same time, having a similarity that gives each taste of Kentucky Spirit consistency from bottle to bottle.

The St.Bernardus Abt 12 is the pride of our stable, the nec plus ultra of our brewery. Abbey ale brewed in the classic 'Quadrupel' style of Belgium's best Abbey Ales. Dark with a full, ivory-colored head. It has a fruity aroma, full of complex flavours and excells because of its long bittersweet finish with a hoppy bite. (10% ABV) Worldwide seen as one of the best beers in the world. It's a very balanced beer, with a full-bodied taste and a perfect equilibrium between malty, bitter and sweet. One of the original recipes from the days of license-brewing for the Trappist monks of Westvleteren

Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-pored white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour.  It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. To be enjoyed at any time (always a pleasure/enjoyment), goes excellently with fish and seafood, with spicy cheese and especially with the traditional Bavarian veal sausage.

From the winery...

Our father bought this parcel of Ladoix, originally planted with Pinot Noir, in 1995. Grapes ripen slowly on this slightly stony soil of marl and limestone, due to its north-north-east exposure and combe location. This characteristic quickly proved ideal for white wines. After conducting conclusive trials on 0.4 ha in 2007, Erwan decided to replant this plot with Chardonnay vines in 2013. It now stretches over 3 localities, including ‘Les Marnées’ and ‘La Blancharde’. To date, this is the largest planting undertaken on our estate.

TASTING
Fresh, floral aromas emerge on the nose, with a hint of indulgent brioche. Powerful on the palate, the wine reveals toasted bread flavours balanced by a pleasant freshness. Great energy stems from its liveliness and firmness.

Grown on 3 hectares facing south, this white Mercurey is a subtle blend of grapes harvested from several parcels thriving on clay-limestone soils, including Les Montots and Bussière. Exceptionally light, supple and fragrant, it offers a less mineral but equally subtle tasting experience than our Clos Rochette.

TASTING
Elegant aromas of fruit and flowers prevail on the nose. It is well balanced and pleasantly fresh on the palate. A pleasant wine best enjoyed chilled as an aperitif or with a meal.

Our Korbinian, the full-bodied, dark Doppelbock with light brown foam, wins beer-lovers over with a balance of fruity hints of plums and figs, a dark malt aroma - reminiscent of toffee, nuts and chocolate. Its roasted flavour goes well with smoked meat and fish as well as venison and poultry.

A dark ivory coloured beer with a high fermentation. The show piece of the brewery. Thanks to its soft and unconditionally genuine aroma, the beer can be smoothly tasted. The Abt has a very fruity flavour.

Beautiful layered flavours superbly balanced. There’s dark fruit in the forefront (prunes, cherries), and bright, slightly bitter notes in the back (orange peel, hints of clove and coriander seed) Great mouthfeel. It’s syrupy, but not overly sweet. This is an almost perfect quad, quite probably my favourite.

Mongozo Mango uses ingredients purchased from farmers in developing countries for a fair price and contributes to the improvement of living and working conditions, so beer lovers can now enjoy beer in a socially responsible way! It has the sweet, refreshing flavour of fresh mangos and is a light easy drinking beer.

3.6% ABV

For this sweet flavoured and dark brown beer,we use aromatic malt (for the dark colour). For abbey beer, Kapittel Pater has rather low abv (6%). The hop we use is Poperingse hop which has only a light bitter taste.

This full-tilt fruit machine of an IPA packs all the flavour but less of the alcohol. Notes of pineapple, mango, stone-fruit, and a hint of tangerine to mix it up. Brewed with oats and wheat and left unfiltered for a smooth juicy hit. Hazy Jane - Now in session.
