Peckam's x Duncan?s

Fresh Hopped is a special collaboration with our friends at Duncan's Brewing Company, a celebration of our two harvests coming together.

Duncan's works with Eggers Hop Farm for their hops each year which is located a stone's thrown from our orchard.  Together with the Duncan's team, we collected fresh hops straight off the bine from Eggers and brought them back to the cidery.

For the freshest hop cider in the land with beautiful lush hop flavour, our cidermaker Jody, added the hops to a partially fermented cider and then over night the fermentation completed with the fresh hops soaking.

The result is a fabulously aromatic cider, dry in style with a delightful citrus and tropical character coming from the fresh Motueka hops.  Balanced and fruity, the hops and the apple flavour are perfectly integrated for a refreshing cider.

Commercial description

This deep purple Syrah blossoms with blue fruits and violets, and is directed as if by gravitational force to a subtle undertone of exotic cooking spices. Vibrant and sharply focused, displaying smoke-accentuated nuance on the palate with a plush, velvety texture. Eighteen months in carefully selected French oak barriques with regular bâtonage rounded the tannins, adding to the framework a fine grip and delicate finishing touch. Cellaring Potential: 10 years

Calvados has a unique taste that with barrel aging gives a nice twist to the beer that has been on it. This time a Strong Saison. Expect the characteristic Calvados flavors and aromas such as apple, sweet fruits and oak. These together provide a warming and alcoholic mouthfeel.

Strong Ale

8% ABV

This 'Fife Blend' is a collaboration with a farm distillery in Fife and consists of a  25yo Cameronbridge finished in Marsala casks blended with 15yo whisky from an unnamed Fife distillery (very possibly Daftmill) and bottled at 56.3%.

Nose
Light and remarkably effervescent, with fresh grapes, peach, cherry and mango, alongside subtle richer notes of maple syrup and banana.

Taste
Ripe nectarine, mango and apricot merge with candied ginger stem, syrup and milk chocolate. A dash of water brings out big notes of tropical fruits.

Finish
Strawberries, dry champagne and passionfruit.

Refreshing acidity and gorgeous aroma,
The carbonated bubbles burst pleasantly in the mouth.

It is a sparkling nigori sake with a clean and refreshing aftertaste.
It is recommended as an aperitif, but is also great with rich, spicy dishes and desserts such as fruit.

Tres Cabezas is an explosion of sensations, a red blend with an intense purplish red color and purple nuances. In the nose it stands out an exquisite
combination of acidic and fleshy red fruit aromas. In the mouth, it surprises with a fruity freshness, silky texture and soft tannins, culminating in a touch of sweetness that makes it irresistibly pleasing.

Tempranillo, Carinena & Garnacha

Oktoberfest beer is typically a Märzen, a type of medium bodied lager brewed in Bavaria. Märzen is a richer and more malt driven beer than most German lagers, but retains the same clean, dry finish. Paulaner's Oktoberfest beer is malty with a subtle hop note. Prost!

Hazy Apple has been wild fermented and left unfiltered to create a delicious naturally cloudy, full bodied cider with a soft texture.

Off-dry in style, it's packed with juicy apple and stonefruit flavour coming from Tom Putt apples.

As this cider is unfiltered, a natural sediment may be present.

Made from 100% heritage cider apples.

Residual sugar: approximately 30g/L

Alcohol: 5.2% abv

Ultra junmai ginjo sake 720ml (white label)

This sake has been designed with the goal of making the ultimate sake to enjoy with food.

Pairs well with lighter, more delicate flavours, e.g. sashimi, sushi, Bluff oysters, or tempura.

Strong-bodied, full of umami, with a slight firmness and a crisp finish. After brewing, the sake has been raw-stored at -5°C for at least 3 years to embed its ripeness.
