Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes are gently pressed into production to make this dry, medium bodied bubbly from Marlborough, which was fermented with wild yeasts and aged for 18 months in bottle on lees; the decomposing yeast cells following fermentation in the bottle. It contains 8.8 grams of residual sugar per litre and alcohol of 12.5% ABV, giving it a medium body and lovely balanced flavours. It’s made by Allan Scott and his winemaking team.

Crisp and creamy, full bodied and elegant, this wine has great complexity thanks to being made from 21 year old vines, which are now coming into their own - as this lovely refreshing dry white shows. This is the first Masters Chardonnay from winemaker Helen and her partner Ben Masters' vineyard, four kilometres south of Martinborough. 

It's a beautiful wine now and will continue to develop in flavour and age well for the next four to five years+.

Madeira comes from the island of the same name which is part of Portugal, despite being situated 1000 kilometres south west, off the coast of Africa. Its grapes grown on volcanic soils in a warm, relatively high rainfall climate and the wines were traditionally transported in barrels on ships, where the wine warmed up and baked in the heat, so that it maderised, hence the name. Today, Madeira comes in a wider range of defined styles than ever before. This wine is a sweet style and would typically contain between 78 and 100 grams of residual sugar per litre of wine, putting it firmly in the sweet/ luscious style. Drink it chilled as a beautifully complex dessert wine or use in cooking - it works well in both sweet and savoury dishes.

The award-winning Nikka Whisky From The Barrel blend is absolutely full of flavour. Bottled at 51.4% ABV. The blend combines both single malt and grain whiskies from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries, which are then married in a huge variety of casks, including bourbon barrels, sherry butts and refill hogsheads. A huge depth of flavour in this stunning Japanese whisky. 

Nose: Medium-body with good balance. There are notes of cut flowers and fresh fruits, spice and a little oak.

Palate: Full-bodied and punchy. There is plenty of winter spice and toffee, a little caramel and vanilla and a good mouthful of fruit.

Finish: Long, warming and fruity with a little oaken spice.

This complex blend of sweet, bitter and bitter apple cider apples gives a nose to the mixed aromas of fresh fruit and ripe fruit, as well as a woody, vegetal note. On the palate, it offers a full, frank and fresh attack, with a touch of astringency and a sweet bitterness.
