Light bronze in color with streaks of gold, Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey bears a complex aroma of vanilla, mint, and molasses. Following the footsteps of trailblazing older brother Hopwired, Hazewired is a beer set to forge its own path. Packed with a plethora of the best NZ Hops, we’ve borrowed Nelson Sauvin and Motueka from Hopwired. An injection of ultra-modern varieties Nectaron and Superdelic makes for one big, juicy Hazy IPA, loaded with notes of tropical mango, candied pineapple and passionfruit. An ode to the past, forged in the present.

Coupling Old World inspiration with New World innovation, Jansz Tasmania crafts this wine from vineyards throughout Tasmania, all of which produce high-quality Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Tasting Note
Aromas of honeysuckle, citrus zest and fresh strawberries from the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir fruit. Extended time on lees during secondary fermentation contributes to more complex aromas of nougat and roasted nuts. The palate is balanced with delicate fruit flavour, fine creamy texture and refreshing natural acidity.

Winemaking
Handpicking, gentle whole bunch pressing, cool fermentation, 100% malolactic fermentation, complex assemblage and extended ageing on lees after bottle fermentation, all combine to produce a stylish and complex wine.

Best Enjoyed With
A perfect match with natural oysters drizzled with any of our cuvées (instead of lemon) or fritto misto with lemon aioli.

Gisborne Black

The black sheep of the Sunshine family, this luscious milk stout is a smooth, velvety blend of chocolate, coffee and vanilla with roasted malt. Rich but balanced, this is a brew that demands to be savoured.

ABV: 4.5%

Out of the can there is that familiar aroma of the guava and passionfruit. On tasting though you will find there is a noticeable difference compared to Hop Zombie. It seems that the balance of the beer is noticeably greater.

Tito's Hand Made Vodka is made in old-fashioned pot stills and using corn as the base, Tito?s is a naturally gluten free vodka. Their process, similar to that used to make fine single malt scotches and high-end French cognacs, requires more skill and effort, but we think it?s well worth it. The final product is a vodka so smooth, you can drink it straight.

Corona has been brewed and bottled in Mexico since 1925 and is one of Mexico's favourite brands. It is lighter than traditional beers, with a crisp and refreshing taste that is both balanced and full of flavour. It is best enjoyed with a wedge of lime to bring out the full citrus taste of the hops and malts.
 
4.6% ABV

Secular Brandy is a bright golden mahogany colour. It is aged in very old American oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months and exhibits deep complex aromas and flavours of dried fruit and oak.

This Reserva Tempranillo from Valdepenas is a great example of the quality coming out of Spain at the  moment.  Ripe and juicy, yet also with hints of oak and complexity.  Grapes from their oldest, low-yielding vineyards were combined with those of younger vines to create a blend of rich dark fruit with smooth vanilla and rich cocoa. 12 months in American oak barrels, followed by a further 24 months in the bottle add a silken texture to the blend.  Superb with hearty stews and char-grilled steaks as well as a variety of tapas.

"Dark cherry red with a savoury bouquet infused with redcurrant fruit and cake spices, then spicy and savoury to the taste with lifted red berry fruit, a touch of orange zest and peppery spices. There's a nice touch of smokiness coming through, underlying earthy notes and a long dry finish lifted by vanillin oak and mint. Tannins are firm yet the wine is ripe and juicy with a pleasing generosity. Fantastic presentation.  13% alc."
