One of the world's top 10 best known wine brands, Guigal is the producer of this incredibly smooth, spicy, soft and delicious full bodied red Cotes du Rhone. At least 4 million bottles of this wine are made in a good year and as it is aged for three years  minimum in Guigal’s wine cellars, there are about 12 million bottles of Guigal Cotes du Rhone Rouge in Guigal's cellars at any one time, either fermenting or maturing.

All of the grapes are grown and bought in from 850 growers in the Rhone Valley and while this is a vast amount of external input, all of the wine production from fermentation to ageing, bottling and marketing is done by the Guigal family. 

This blend is approximately 55% Syrah with smaller proportions of Grenache and Mourvedre to add roundness to the wine, which is softened out by the three year ageing process in Ampuis, in the Northern Rhone, which is the Guigal family's winemaking headquarters.

An impressive whisky liqueur from Drambuie, with the name celebrating both the legend of its creation during the Jacobite uprising of the 1740s and the company's large collection of Jacobite glassware.

A blend of 21 year old whiskies that was matured for a further 24 years in a mix of sherry and bourbon oak, for a total of 45 years, before mixing with Drambuie's secret recipe of herbs and spices.

The liqueur has been filled into an etched lead crystal decanter and is presented in a double doored wooden cabinet with a replica Spottiswoode 'Amen' glass and a leather bound book telling the story of the Jacobite collection.

Distilled with raspberries and 100% Auckland grown strawberries this gin is sure to be a winner on a hot summer day.  The flavour profile is refreshing with a lingering flavour of strawberry, best served with a good tonic and a freshly sliced strawberry to garnish.

Pegasus Bay has an excitingly diverse, if sometimes surprising, array of different grapes growing in its vineyards in the Waipara Valley, the heart of North Canterbury, many of which were planted to see what would fit. And thanks to the long dry autumn growing season, quite a number of different grapes can ripen fully here. This enables varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc and even Cabernet Sauvignon to ripen and produce wines such as this full bodied, juicy, age worthy red. If climate change continues, who knows what we will see coming from this stellar, family owned wine producer.

This wine drinks well now and can age and improve for the next five to seven years.

Tasting notes: Dolin Vermouths are notably lighter, drier and less pungent than their larger commercial counterparts. The particular mixture of plants found near Chambery gives a fresh, restrained and elegant nose, with a subtle, complex bittersweet palate. Even the Blanc and Rouge retain great balance, with the sugar never cloying, and just enough bitterness to whet the appetite. The small Clark family swells over the summer months as old friends return to the farm in Tasmania?s Derwent Valley to help with the berry harvest. By now, the crop of Thornless Loch Ness blackberries has swollen with vitamins, antioxidants, and anthocyanins. These plump, juicy berries are destined for Marionette M?re?a bright, herbaceous liqueur that tastes like summer on the vine.

White port is one of our staff favourite drinks at Regional Wines and this one is a deliciously well balanced blend of white Portuguese grapes, Gouveio, Malvasia Fina, Moscatel Galego and Rabigato, often including other lesser known varieties as well. It is the Moscatel that expresses itself most in many white ports, with flavoursome hints of caramelised orange peel and zesty citrus sweetness.
