Unit price perFull Barrel Ale was brewed as a collaboration with Pōkeno Whisky. This higher-octane 7% Scottish Export Ale was aged in ex-Pōkeno barrels for 7 months and rested in stainless for another 3. The barrels were sent back to Pōkeno to have one of their whisky’s aged and impart the flavours of the beer. The beer shows aromatics of cinnamon, brown sugar and Boerenjongens(Dutch brandied raisins) mix with the esters of whisky. Whilst the flavours of vanilla, caramel and butterscotch enjoy a soft warming heat on the palate. Tasting notes: Floral aromas explodes as wine gets into glass. Oak fermentation and aging promises a complex, vigorous, exciting wine. Concentrated, deep and mineral at once, a great gun amongst white wines. The elegancy and richness shows how excellent a white wine can be amongst the reds in Villany wine region.

Unit price perAnother banger in our ever growing Hungarian section. This one is a deep ruby colour in the glass and offers a nose of red and black fruits complexed by chocolate and mineral notes, leading to a palate of blackberry, leather and spice flavours. It was matured in large Hungarian oak casks for more than two years. There are some lovely gorgeous Bordeaux notes in this wine - Petit Verdot being one of the seasoning grapes often found at low percentages in a lot of Bordeaux. It isn't showy though, more of a thought provoking wine.
