Four Pillars x Yarra Yering BLOODY UNDERHILL SHIRAZ GIN is back and dare we say, even better. Colour: Rich and brilliant - see-through amber, but with a flame orangeglint that tells of the warmth to come.

Bouquet: Full, yet delicate; well-rounded; possessing a distinctive caramelaroma of the charred oak with a hint of vanilla; pleasant and inviting.

Taste: Rich in flavor, yet soft on the palate. A subtle level of sweetness thatreflects the marriage of grain and oak. Distinctive and complex, yet possessthe balance found in a well crafted malt or cognac.

One of the greatest Rieslings from a special vineyard site. We receive a small allocation of this exceptionally beautifully balanced medium dry Riesling. It's made from one of Germany's great Rieslings from a hallowed vineyard site that has been revered for centuries for its ability to ripen this great white grape to a peachy flavour spectrum while retaining fresh lime zest aromas and crisp balancing acidity for a long finish.

A great lunch time wine from Mt Edward Wines in Central Otago, one of the region's most adventurous producers with its range of interesting, high quality, dry white wines. Pinot Blanc makes a fabulous alternative to Chardonnay and this dry wine has beautifully fresh white stone fruit aromas with a citrusy taste mid palate and layers of freshness. 

Time tested tradition, spiced with a dash of innovation, this is the process we followed in making AMRUT INTERMEDIATE SHERRY CASK SINGLE MALT. Newly made spirit, matured in the traditional way in virgin / ex-bourbon casks and is transferred into Spanish ex-oloroso sherry butts wherein it matures for a year more, gaining an added sherry finish. The finishing touch is thus lent by a further period of maturation in ex-bourbon casks. Result: an essay in elegance with subdued sherry notes that bears the tell-tale Amrut Signature of quality and innovation. A worthy successor to the much-acclaimed Amrut Fusion and Amrut Double Cask.

Nose : Instead of the usual biscuit aroma, we now get moist cake. And my word: is it fruity and spicy!! Love the freshly waxed oak floor, too. Brain-explodingly complex and multi-layered with one of the most intriguing sherry-style-bourbon-style marriages on the market;

Taste : Cracking delivery and entirely unique in form. The structure is decidedly oak-based, but acts as no more than a skeleton from which the juicy sultana and spices drape. Salivating, too, as the barley kicks in powerfully. But the liquorice-orangey-honeycomb bourbon theme quietly shapes the flavour profile; the spices pulse and glow;

Finish : Quite a chunk of natural caramel quietens the more exuberant characteristics; long and elegant.

Ata Rangi Pinot Gris is modelled on the classic style of wines from Alsace in France and is made from vines which are now over 23 years old. 

The grapes are fermented in older oak barrels, which provide texture and body to the finished wine, which tastes spicy and has flavours of beeswax, lemon curd and fresh pastry, all of which add complexity and softness to this smooth off dry white from one of Martinborough's first four wineries.

The name Ata Rangi is Maori for dawn sky and was chosen to portray the new beginning that the start of this winery represented for founder Clive Paton in the late 1970s.

Chardonnay lovers will be all over this wine made from hand picked grapes grown on the Heretaunga Plains in Hawke's Bay. Grapes were whole bunch pressed and
barrel fermented with wild yeasts, which provides rich depth of flavour and a smooth palate mouthfeel; Lees stirring enhances softness and builds structure and weight to this wine, which was aged for 11 months in barrel.
