Brave Brewing - The People's Pils is deliciously simple and brings together clean, crisp malts and a zesty, noble hop character.  Fermented with a German lager yeast, this is a proper old school crushable pilsner, brewed for the people.

4.8% ABV.

Lovely lighter Pinot Noir but with earthy depths of flavour that marry nicely with plum, cherry and spicy notes, made from northern Wairarapa winery Matahiwi Estate, which uses a blend of grapes from its vineyards to produce this medium bodied, beautifully red fruited wine. Notes of spice and fresh summer berries add layers of interesting flavour to this lively, beautifully balanced wine. It's great value for money. 

The arrival of hops to the brewing scene in England in the 1500's led to a moral panic. 

Hops were condemned as a 'wicked and pernicious weed', one which would lead to the erosion of social and moral standards. Thank goodness they were right. Here’s hoping that our homage to the original pernicious weed continues this gradual decline. Organic Rakau and whole cone Nelson Sauvin go head to head in this strong, golden, hoppy brew. Bitter, yes. Intensely hoppy, absolutely.

IIPA - 8% Alc./Vol 

Darling in name and in taste, this Marlborough Pinot Gris is made from certified organic grapes grown in Rapaura in Marlborough.

It's light bodied, off dry and tastes of fresh pears and white peach, offering a lovely easy white wine for newcomers to wine and for those who enjoy soft, smooth styles. 

6.6% ABV.

This is a semi-dry, complex dessert wine. The palate offers notes of orange peel, quince and raisin. 

Possibly the most popular brand of bitters, Angostura should be considered a must when stocking a bar of any seriousness. Made with a secret blend of tropical herbs and plants with the original intent of curing a variety of illnesses. The brand is now produced in Trinidad and the blend is still a well-kept secret. The oversized, awkward label has also become a trademark of the brand. It's said that the wrong size was ordered and everyone in the facility thought someone else would fix the mistake, no one did and the label remains.

If you love a chilled peach in summer or a plate of savoury nibbles year round, try Matahiwi's dry Pinot Gris, made from grapes grown on the free draining river terrace at the winery's home vineyard. Warm days and cool nights allow for a long ripening period guaranteeing ripe concentrated fruit while maintaining freshness. which is preserved from tank fermenting the juice using yeasts that can ferment at low temperatures. The palate is supple and juicy, with luscious tropical fruit and a fine mineral thread, leading to a fresh and sustained finish.

A great match with seafood, chicken or on its own with a chilled peach.

Koakoa - This Limoncello is koakoas signature offering.  We select the best quality New Zealand fruit and handcraft a liqueur which is described as bright, zesty citrus with a hint of sherbet lemons and bonbons.  It has a soft, creamy lemon start with a flash of citrus blossom and lemon meringue pie.
