Unit price perThe Natural State wines are made by second generation Churton Estate winemakers, Ben and Jack Weaver, sons of the winery's founders, Sam and Mandy. This Field Blend combines Petit Manseng (extremely rare in New Zealand), Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc. All grapes were harvested on the same day and co-fermented then bottled, unfined, unfiltered with zero sulphur additions.
Churton founder and winemaker Sam Weaver cut his teeth on the classic wines of the world while working in fine wine retail in the United Kingdom. His background is in microbiology and he was raised on a farm, so when he and his wife Mandy founded Churton Estate, it combined all of his passions. The couple and their adult sons, have created one of this country's most high quality small wineries, which lives up to the dream of creating 100% estate grown grapes, 100% certified organic production and 100% bottled on site, nearly all of the wines without fining or filtration. All grapes are hand picked and natural yeasts ferment the majority of Churton wines. These incremental qualitative decisions impact at every step of their winemaking provides exceptional quality grapes which in turn express themselves in outstanding wines.

The Nelson region has established a strong reputation for this classic variety producing many top award-winning wines. Te Mānia Chardonnay is an elegant wine made with just a little oak to compliment and show case the fresh fruity flavours. It can be enjoyed on its own or with a wide variety of dishes. It’s particularly good with seafood and white meat dishes.
Nose: Rich ripe peach aromas with floral citrus blossom. Freshly baked bread and melted butter notes with brown spices and toasted nuts from French oak barre
Palate: A concentrated rich wine with silky texture. Has savory, toasted nut flavour’s and a long fresh finish. Ripe peach and zesty grapefruit flavors.
Vintage: After pressing, the juice was fermented in French oak barrels with wild yeast. The lees were stirred once a week for 3 months to add texture and complexity to the wine. The wine was allowed to go 50% through a secondary malolactic fermentation.
Organic Status: Certified Organic BioGro New Zealand.

Unit price perFloreffe Triple owes its name to its high density and strong taste. The splendid mixture between bitterness and caramel characterises this beer. Unit price perOude Geuze Boon is one of the finest examples of the traditional 100% spontaneous fermentation Lambic style. To moderate the sourness, Boon Brewery only brews Lambic in the 7 cold months, from early October until April, according to the traditional "turbid mash" system. This Lambic beer is brewed from 40% unmalted wheat, 60% of barleymalt, aged hops and wild yeasts collected from our coolship and is aged for 1, 2 or 3 years in oak casks. The blend, a mild average 18 months old Lambic (unsweetened, unfiltered, unpasteurised) is refermented in the bottle and can be stored up to 20 years. Brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name. Awards at the World Beer Championships: 2008 Gold, 2010 Silver, 2012 Gold Medal.

Unit price perLa Chouffe is an unfiltered blonde beer, which is re-fermented in the bottle as well as in the keg. It is pleasantly fruity, spiced with coriander, and with a light hop taste.
La Chouffe pours a clear, amber-gold colour, with a giant white head. The smell is strong, with sugar, alcohol and fruit (both dark and citrus) present. The taste is very sweet, with citrus, alcohol, and a biscuity aftertaste. An excellent beer that should not be missed.
