Our latest addition is a golden lager. It’s been on our radar for a while, and up till now, it’s impossible to brew. We have found a new yeast specific for zeros that can work well with wheat and barley to brew an all-malt lager. A quality Golden lager needs quality ingredients and this all NZ beer delivers! The grains of Canterbury give the body of Riwaka hops the finish. Enjoy

It truly is the Summer of Lager! Introducing our first beer of the year Pipe Dreams. A beer that’s as crisp and elusive as those wild, impossible waves you chase but never quite catch.

Brewed with delicate rice grains for a light, smooth body, it teases your taste buds with a hint of grapefruit emanating from the Taihiki hops.

Each sip is bright and refreshing, like stepping outside on a perfect summer’s day ready to conquer the waves,

but with a reminder that it’s all just a pipe dream...

A big background hum of roasted malt complexity and a warm lingering bitterness. Smooth and full bodied with notes of rich raisin, caramel and boozy cherries. Pine, deep and resinous resound with a lingering pop of honey. Notes of spiced toffee and a sherry kiss, all reminiscent of dense, decadent fruit cake and dark crust magic. Made for this frostbitten weather in front of the fire, toes tucked into a pair of woolly socks.

Crisp and clean like a snowball to the face is how we describe our pilsner. Different to classic European pilsners but with the heritage of all imported malts to create that signature flavour and mouthfeel. Called an NZ pilsner as it is hopped with all NZ varieties that scream to be shown, the riwaka and nelson sauvin show a medly of grape and passionfruit with a lime zing. Light to medium bodied with the creamy mouthfeel of well brewed german malts and a crisp refreshing bitterness to quench the thirst. Winner of a gold medal at 2021 brewers guild awards.

A yearly released Sauvignon Blanc barrel aged farmhouse ale. Starting life as our seasonal saison, Rivage Brux takes on the winey, slightly tannic character of the barrel. Tangy Brett, Viniuos notes with a lean malt backbone combine to create the Beer Worlds answer to Orange Wine.

Combing a cool lager fermentation, and a mixture of striking aromatic hops from Germany, NZ and the Czech Republic. Fervour is tropical, citrus tinged and smashable.
