Following the raw power of the Origins first set and the seasonal chaos of the Fresh Hop second drop, Kai Juice - Unleashed arrives as the third evolution of our jungle giant. We have taken our wild, nature-powered hazy and mutated it with high-spec hop tech - packing it with concentrated kief and enriched hops to go head-to-head with its metal rival, Jaeger. It is soft, thick, and fully unleashed.

Flavours: A high-protein grist of pilsner base malt, wheat malt, and flaked oats builds a silky, pillowy body with a rock-solid stable haze. Whitelabs WLP008 yeast cradles a heavy payload of Galaxy, Nectaron, Riwaka Amplifire, and Riwaka Kief. Expect a massive, saturated punch of sweet peach, pineapple, and passionfruit, backed by a heavy wave of dank tropical citrus and fresh-squeezed lime oil.

Tasting like a spring harvest this traditionally brewed Hefeweizen boasts spicy, fruit-filled aromatics of strawberry, orange and grapefruit from the Callista hops which complement the clove and banana notes from the yeast. Raspberry puree brings a bright berry juiciness to this beer with German malts providing a balanced body and a creamy softness, finishing clean and leaving you ready for more!

Glorious notes of lychee, white wine, passionfruit and gooseberry abound in this juicy single-hopped beer loaded with Nelson Sauvin hops. Good game. Crisp golden NZ pils, crafted to showcase the new Hāpi Research trial hop variety NZ04. Canterbury barley with a light touch of toffee malt bring fresh baked baguette sweetness, balanced with clean bitterness, upfront grapefruit citrus and tropical passionfruit notes. Too ez.

This beer is a love letter to Blackball, a firebrand of a town with fiercely convivial charm. We first visited out of curiosity & left utterly smitten. By the time we landed, miner Patrick “Wild Bill” Hickey had already refused to leave his pork pie after a measly 15-minute break on a 10-hour work stretch. It was 1908, & his act triggered an 11-week miner’s strike eventually sparking NZ’S Labour movement & solidifying Blackball as a magnet for broadminded folk who eat politicos for breakfast, & mine their own good luck. On our second visit, we stayed at Formerly the Blackball Hilton, drank dark lager, laughed with locals & watched a reveller get ferried home in a wheelbarrow. Pure gold. We’ve been back since & will go again because Coasters in Blackball have wit & more true grit than any lump from a mine.

Panhead - In hot rodding a Rad Rod is a chopped, low slung, rough and rusty special, designed for go more than show.  A little like a classic hazy IPA in other words.  There's a killer American hopping regime inside this unfiltered diamond, throwing the juicy orange and fruit salad characters forward without too much bitterness or malty sophistication.

• Rhys’ Pieces - Chocolate & Peanut Imperial Stout 10%

  The mysterious mountain man of the wilderness surrounding Canyon. Some say Rhys is just a myth, dreamt up to scare kids into behaving. But when he does appear from the trees, he never comes empty-handed. From the depths of his magic Carhartt overalls pockets, he pulls little bites of joy, packed with decadent peanut goodness to warm the soul. This beast pours motor oil black, with a rich malt base, notes of peanut, and a whisper of burnt caramel. 

Duck Duck Gose - Grapefruit & Tequila Barrel Aged Gose 5.7%

Duck, duck, duck, duck, duck... you're it. We took our salty, tart gose and locked it away in tequila-soaked European oak for four months, letting it soak up some briny, earthy attitude. What comes out the other end is puckering and playful in equal measure: sea salt minerality, zingy bright grapefruit, and just enough barrel character to keep you guessing who's the goose.
