Brewed for the 2026 WC IPA challenge this years entry channels our inner wizardry. A bright straw yellow brew that starts innocent enough: crisp malt, a little citrus sparkle, sunshine in a glass. But every pint takes you farther down the road… past the Scarecrow giving life advice, past the Tin Man crying at jukebox songs, and straight to the Emerald City, where someone’s ordering nuggets for the whole table and insisting they’re “totally fine to drive a broom.”

A silky and full stout from one of the fastest growing local craft beer breweries Panhead. They've specially imported caramelized oats to give this stout body and texture, it's big but balanced as is generally the case with anything from Panhead.

From lunar mountains to the plains of Moutere. Montes is a hop forward NZIPA that combines Southern Cross and Eggers Special hops for a cosmic hit of citrus, tropical fruit and spice.

Merry Monk - Belgian Tripel - 9.1% This Belgian Tripel is a bold, scandalously traditional classic that refuses to play it safe, holding onto its secrets tighter than a blowing robe on a windy Wellington day. This monk isn’t going to reveal everything until you get it into your glass to breathe a bit. Dry, effervescent, and stronger than it tastes, it is a decadent, high-gravity, relaxed adventure. Flavours: A straightforward, 100% European Bestmalz Pilsner malt base is lightened with clear candi sugar to keep the body dry and dangerously drinkable at 9.1% ABV. Fermented with WLP530 Abbey Ale yeast, it delivers a deep, spicy ester profile of cherry, plum and pear, while late additions of bitter dried orange peel bring a bright citrus lift. Mild, delicate Saaz hops linger in the background, providing a soft floral touch and a clean bitterness to balance the sweetness.
