Eddyline Brewery - Octolupulus takes its inspiration from its Cephalopoda's namesake, the Octopus. These animals not only have 8 tentacles but can camouflage themselves. And just like the Octopus, Octolupulus session hazy IPA camouflages the massive hop profile - with 8 NZ hop varieties utilised plus 100% NZ malts from Gladfields, this beer may appear to be big, but is super crushable.

Hey there, Mr. Blue Sky! Built over a crisp NZ Pilsner malt base and loaded with seriously expressive Kiwi hops. Eggers Lily leads the charge with dank citrus & diesel notes, backed by Eggers Riwaka Diesel & Motueka for layers of grapefruit, tropical fruit, & crushed citrus lime. Bold, punchy and built for blue-sky sipping.

WINTER: CHOC, CHERRY & RYE BELGIAN STOUT

A dry Belgian stout where dark chocolate and cocoa lend a fuller, rounded mouthfeel, balanced by subtle cherry aromatics that dry the finish. Rye brings a restrained bready depth complemented by nutty biscuit undertones.

Rhapzody Express is a full-throttle showcase of Rhapzody hops - vibrant, juicy and tropical.

Expect waves of pineapple, ripe mango and citrus zest, layered over a clean malt base

Mac’s Freeride is a Pale Ale brewed to be super low in alcohol but still full in flavour by the process of arrested fermentation. Pale and crystal malts are used to give the beer a smooth, caramelized malt flavour and full body. Fermentation is controlled to keep alcohol at less than 0.5% and then the beer is dry-hopped with New Zealand Nectaron hops, giving aromas of tropical fruit plus notes of peach and grapefruit.

Commit and drop in on a Mac’s Freeride, a full flavoured hoppy Pale Ale, dry hopped with Nectaron Hops delivering aromas of Tropical and Citrus fruits. Brewed to have less than 0.5% Alcohol so you can freeride through life with no rules and no limits.

A Mac’s take on the NEIPA (New England-style IPA), brewed to be lower in bitterness than traditional IPAs, but still very generously hopped, both in the brewhouse and dry-hopped in fermentation, with an emphasis on producing juicy, tropical fruit flavours. 5.2% ABV

Mac’s Too Easy Juicy Hazy Pale Ale is a beer brewed to be big and juicy in flavour, but exceptionally smooth and easy drinking.

Mac’s take on a juicy hazy pale ale, brewed to be low in bitterness and with an emphasis on the tropical fruit characteristics and drinkability… at 4.4% ABV it makes for a very sessionable brew. Flavour Profile: An easy drinking beer with the addition of Taiheke & Nelson Sauvin hops in the brewhouse evident. Grapefruit, lime and gooseberry zestiness brings balance the big mango & pineapple flavour profiles, making this beer ‘Too Easy’ to say yes to.

The Rock & Pillar Range looks over the small Otago town of Middlemarch, that Richard Emerson calls home. Here, locals know Richard to be both a pillar of the community, and a rock. Or at least that’s what he thinks they mean by pillar. Whatever they may say, his house is always a popular spot for a beer. And this dark ale will be perfect for a bone chilling Strath Taieri night. Rock & Pillar sits somewhere between a brown porter and a stout, robust with rich malt, roasted cocoa, dark chocolate and coffee flavours that are as bittersweet as the local sense of humour

This beer is a tribute to the Matron Saint of Emerson’s. Richard’s Mum, Ingrid. Without her belief, patience, and tolerance, Emerson’s Brewery wouldn’t be here today. Ingrid had a soft spot for German style wheat beers, and we know she would have loved this one. Weizenbock is a dark beer, bringing wheat and malt together for a toasty, bready, rich brew. It’s warming, sweet, spicy, and surprisingly strong. Just like Ingrid.

Rice and Shine started as a craving that wouldn’t quit. Fresh passionfruit, New Zealand’s finest hops, and something light enough to carry you from the first pour to the last glow of the day. Nectaron and Riwaka bring that unmistakable NZ tropical punch, vivid passionfruit, citrus zest and lush stone fruit that hits the nose bright and stays shining. Real passionfruit purée doubles down on everything the hops are already saying. Malted oats soften the body into a hazy, effortless flow, while flaked rice lifts it all, crisp, clean, and luminous, letting those tropical flavours rise and shine with every sip.

Inspired by the thigh-burners, loose rock and views that’ll throw you off your line at Bike Glendhu. Monsoon Hoon is a beer built for fast laps, loose corners, and the inevitable post-ride yarn. A clean and lean malt base lets the Freestyle hops Manilita, Peacharine and Southern Cross do the dirty work. Red grapefruit, white peach and lemon up front, finished with a snappy bitterness that keeps it tight.  

But here's the part we're most proud of: 5% of profits from every can sold goes directly toward planting native trees at Bike Glendhu. That's every can, every time. Bike Glendhu has set a target of 30,000 New Zealand natives planted by 2030, and every Monsoon Hoon gets us a little closer.
