A prominent nose of bright citrus, pine, some caramel sweetness, biscuits, and light toasty malt. The sweet caramel and honey-like malt flavors complement the delicate fruitiness from the hops. The finish is toasty, subtly grassy, yet very balanced

Alesmith IPA is a classic example of San Diego's take on the American IPA.  A bright bouquet of grapefruit and tangerine aroma lead into an abundance of fresh pine and tropical fruit notes followed by crisp and resinous hops.  

This intricate hop profile is supported by a firm malt presence with notes of caramel and toffee, creating an incredibly flavourful and well-balanced beer. It's high alcohol content may catch you unawares if you're not careful, but it's hard to resist once you've tasted it.
