Christmas Ale is brewed using 100% natural ingredients, drawing chalk-filtered mineral water from the artesian well deep below Shepherd Neame?s site, along with the finest malting barley and Kentish hops.

The seasonal ale boasts warming notes of fruits and spices, blending pale and crystal malts with Target and Challenger hops for bitterness, and Goldings hops for aroma.

In keeping with Shepherd Neame?s long heritage, the festive ale has a traditional packaging design, with a vintage, Dickensian-style bottle label and pump clip.

Two Liberty fan faves in one; easy-drinking Oh Bro, and Jungle Juice – the untamed, palate-pounding Hazy. With the best bits of each brew carefully blended and balanced by our hop savant, Juice Bro’s soft mats highlight the citrusy pomelo and orange stylings of Mosaic and Amarillo cones.

5.0% ABV

Despite the technological advances, this beer is brewed according to ancient tradition and unites, as before, the best raw materials from the soil as ripe barley and fine hops, to preserve a maximum of pure flavor. This beer was originally brewed for the Knights of the Golden Fleece in 1491.

Full graceful tenderness, with a clean and neat taste, this beer will enchant you: matured in the bottle, exclusively obtained from pale malt, highly fermented and 100% natural. With a full-bodied flavor that still works thirst quenching, thanks to a balanced hopping.

Pale Ales are known for being aromatic with a balance of a lighter body with some maltiness and mellow bitterness.  Taking the concept from the Hazy IPAs we triple dryhopped our Sippin' on Sunshine to bring out the juiciness while having a lighter body and pleasant crisp finish.  Mosaic and Sultana hops contribute to tropical notes while NZ Southern Cross creates a refreshing lemon flavor!

5.8% ABV.

NZ went hard, went early and this far have smashed Covid-19! Behemoth have made this beer in honour of what the whole of Aotearoa has been through! Teaming up with their friends at Harpoon Cold Brew Coffee, they’ve infused cold brew into this massive barleywine. Go hard and go early and pick up the coffee in this early on, or let is age 5-10 years and see how those flavours mellow into a dream over time. Kia Kaha, Aotearoa!

 La Trappe Blond is an agreeable, tingling ale with a slightly sweet, softly bitter and malty taste.

6.5% ABV.

VAT 110 owes its slightly dry but very full-bodied flavor, with a hint of vanilla and dry fruit, thanks to foeder no. 110. 

This foeder used to serve as a cognac cask and has been used as a Lambic cask by our brewery since 2009. This Traditional Old Geuze is characterised by a wealth of flavours that developed from by the Brettanomyces yeast strains in the cask.

Almanac - Grand Cru White is an ode to our favorite aromatic white wines. We combined California Muscat Blanc grapes with an imperial version of our Farmer’s Reserve sour blonde base and fresh, locally-grown apricots before aging them for over a year in French oak barrels.

The result is a deeply fragrant hybrid that captures the Northern California terroir and seamlessly melds the complex tartness of a Belgian-inspired sour ale with the sun-ripened boldness of white wine grapes. Serve this very limited release alongside fresh raw oysters, steamed mussels and pair with decadent celebrations.

10.6% ABV.

Inspired by the thick layers of Buxton's famous limestone quarry, this Black Forest Pancake Stout has stacks of flavour. Rich and malty with satisfying hints of sweet cherry and decadent chocolate.

The Bugle is a lovely session ale, coming in at 3.5%. 

A modern NZ take on the pub ales of old. Built for balance and drinkability, the Bugle is golden in colour, with a soft malt sweetness and a restrained bitterness. It is lightly hopped with a classic blend of NZ Hops which bring subtle notes of citrus and tropical fruit.

Heavily triple dry hopped with 2:2:1 ratio of Citra, Mosaic and our selected Simcoe, this Triple IPA is packed to the brim with all those juicy, fruity, and dank notes we all know and love from the Holy Trinity of hops.

What a Funny one - a cheeky blend of sun-ripened mango and silky banana, brightened by tangy passionfruit and lush guava, all tied together with a drizzle of NSW honey. The gentle lactose adds a custardy, pastry-like sweetness, lifting each sip like a perfectly baked fruity masterpiece. This quad-fruited sour delivers just the right mix of juicy brightness and indulgent smoothness while being all that fun, balanced, and impossible to resist-ness we love in those Funny People. Ha ha!
