St-Louis Premium Kriek is brewed on a lambic base complemented with a proportion of St-Louis Kriek Fondation and the juice of Oblacinska cherries that have been steeped in gueuze for six months. Piraat triple hop is a balanced, complex brew with defined hop character. Brouwerij Van Steenberge uses the famous Piraat ale as the base providing the brew with a full-bodied fruity flavor from the malt blended with dry characteristics derived from the high levels of alcohol. Then, four different hops are added into the brew three times during the brewing process (hence triple hop).

The hops pitched are saaz, tetra and aurora twice in the brew house and then cascade is used to dry hop. These four hop styles deliver a complex character, which stands up to the great name of Piraat.

Colour and appearance: a pale blonde colour and fine creamy-white head which clings to the glass.

Flavour: A pleasant sparkling carbonate content produces a soft, full taste perception. The aroma is very balanced with a fruity, flowery background and an initial Chardonnay impression which evolves into a spicy, mild aroma of hops. The taste is very full-bodied and is balanced with fruity tones of apple and Chardonnay grapes. Deliria has a fine, mild bitterness in its aftertaste and a splendid, round feel in the mouth which evolves well.

Moa St Josephs is a classic Belgian Tripel. Strong spice, caramel and banana ester characters create complex flavours and aromas which are heightened by its extended bottle conditioning period. The combination of bittering hops, malt and candy sugars compliment the high alcohol content and integrate into a very approachable and drinkable Tripel.

Navel Gazer Imperial Stout is a lush, English-Style Imperial Stout. It’s packed with rich layers of dark malt complexity and infused with orange zest, and cacao nibs. Please note cans have a date error printed on the label. The correct best before is in 2028 and is printed directly on the can (and hand redated on most). The beer was made in late 2025.

For Jason’s namesake brew, Idaho 7 & Motueka hops make a joyful noise! And like Head Brewer Jason, it’s a hybrid: NZ/American Pale Ale. Soft malt sweetness & masterfully balanced bitterness back up candied clementine through & through for an extended, orange-laden finish. Can you have just one?
