Unit price perAlmanac - Grand Cru White is an ode to our favorite aromatic white wines. We combined California Muscat Blanc grapes with an imperial version of our Farmer’s Reserve sour blonde base and fresh, locally-grown apricots before aging them for over a year in French oak barrels.
The result is a deeply fragrant hybrid that captures the Northern California terroir and seamlessly melds the complex tartness of a Belgian-inspired sour ale with the sun-ripened boldness of white wine grapes. Serve this very limited release alongside fresh raw oysters, steamed mussels and pair with decadent celebrations.

A flash back to 2009, the original Maximus IPA recipe before the good American hops ran out. Loads of mid boil hops for huge hop flavour and excessive bitterness. Then dry hoped to within an inch of your life. A tribute to the good old days when IPAs were bitter and malt was still cool.

The raptor family includes a surprisingly diverse collection of birds of prey and their kin, and stretches to include some of their fiercer ancestors from the land before time. Pale ale can feel like a similarly broad category, but this one is very much of the more assertive kind. Deep gold with piercing piney bitterness and citrus hop flavours, it’s a throwback to the relatively recent past.
