On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the Purity Law, our brewers developed a new beer in a new package in 2016, using the pale lager from Hofbräuhaus. "Hofbräuhaus Hell" is a smooth, easy-drinking, and pleasantly hopped Munich pale lager. A delight for all beer connoisseurs who appreciate the traditional Bavarian lifestyle! A big, bold, Hazy Double IPA, with intense citrus and tropical flavours, and gooseberry and grape aromas. At 7.8% ABV it's a good one to share, perhaps with one of your Nice friends.

Pioneer Brown Porter

Our take on an English-style Brown Porter, Pioneer is an award-winning beer that blends a proprietary malt list to a delicious end. Using a classic English ale strain imparts lovely fruity esters, both 'bready' & lively, with subtle cocoa & toast on the palate for a simple-yet-satisfying brew. Balanced, as always, & delicious. That's what beer's about, right? 

NOTE: These bottles are brewed in Mexico and imported to New Zealand. 

This brown ale has a marked ruby brown colour with a generous and lasting head. It has a distinctive aroma reflecting the wide range of ingredients used in its production. The fruitiness resulting from its fermentation blends harmoniously with a dominant liquorice and caramel fl avour.The body is decidedly malty. The bitterness is the result of a complex alchemy between the fine hops and special malts used. These give St-Feuillien Brune Réserve a typical dark chocolate appearance. This beer creates an endless variety of sensations with a lingering taste and powerful aroma.

Wipe me down and call me Nancy. Strap in, fam; this is going to be one wild ride. Our lactose-heavy kettle-sour base has received an all-out liquid cream treatment, with bucketloads of fresh fruit added just before canning. Australian boysenberry juice, with banana and raspberry purée, lay the foundation for lashings of vanilla ice cream powder, lemon meringue whips, and coconut crème. And what's that? A kiss of Canadian maple syrup, you say? Go on, then. A delightful mess all wrapped in an aluminium suit. Wipe it down.

A pale sour beer, aged for up to 2 years in wine barrels and then another year on fresh, local and organic feijoas from Helen and Peter at Quinta Feijoas (just down the road in Omaha) who have supplied the fruit for the last 6 years.

A refreshing Summer style naturally conditioned ale that delivers tropical fruit notes with a distinct dry hop character and mild bitterness.

LEFFE RUBY

Leffe Ruby is the first abbey beer ever to be combined with red fruit. It is light, mild and very aromatic, with a refreshing and slightly spicy flavour. The subtle hints of rosewood make this a perfectly balanced beer.

Aroma: Spicy (clove), fruity (raspberries, strawberries, citrus), floral, with woody notes.

Taste: With its sweet and fruity aroma, Leffe Ruby reveals a palette of flavours characterised by slightly spicy red fruit notes.

Alcohol content: 5%

Recommended serving temperature: 5 °C

Perfect to enhance the taste of: White fish, sweet desserts, goat cheese, red fruit, cured ham and melon.
