Collaboration No. 3 with Heyday Beer Co. from Wellington brings us a winter warmer of ultra-traditional heritage. Brewed on the winter solstice of 2024 this is a rich and malt forward Pale Ale for sipping on dark winter evenings. A traditional French farmhouse style usually brewed in winter and bottle-aged until the following winter or even longer for full maturation and enjoyment. Our version is dark copper in colour and incorporates three different rye malts giving a spicy dry feel to this beautiful style. Drink now or keep for up to 3 years.

THE STORY OF TROOPER Real ale fan and history aficionado Bruce Dickinson, Maiden's vocalist, played a major role in developing the unique flavour of the beer, entailing ongoing visits to Robinson’s brewery in Stockport. "I'm a lifelong fan of traditional English ale; I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when we were asked to create our own beer. I have to say that I was very nervous: Robinsons are the only people I have had to audition for in 30 years. Their magic has been to create the alchemical wedding of flavour and texture that is TROOPER. I love it."

Crisp and clean like a snowball to the face is how we describe our pilsner. Different to classic European pilsners but with the heritage of all imported malts to create that signature flavour and mouthfeel. Called an NZ pilsner as it is hopped with all NZ varieties that scream to be shown, the riwaka and nelson sauvin show a medly of grape and passionfruit with a lime zing. Light to medium bodied with the creamy mouthfeel of well brewed german malts and a crisp refreshing bitterness to quench the thirst. Winner of a gold medal at 2021 brewers guild awards.

Lookaway is a brand spanking new topped-up-to-the-brim kettle sour that's been given a full fresh-fruit fermentation treatment. We’ve started this sour’s journey with a lean foundation that really lets the fruit shine in a massive way. We’ve added Australian Pineapple, NZ Feijoa, Fijian Coconut Water, Chinese Gooseberries, and some Key Lime. Soured with our house lacto culture and finished off with a kiss of sea salt. A super tasty number that’ll have you looking the right way.

Whodunit is a brand new fruited pastry style sour straight out of our R&D project arm. Starting its journey as an imperial and amplified lacto-sour we’ve then gone and given it a huge double hit of Aussie blueberries and blackcurrants. Starting strong and fruit forward with a robust tartness, with lashings of vanilla help to round and soften the finish on this simple but absolutely decadent winner. We’ve doubled down on all the good stuff your favourite Raspberry Sour had to offer. Double the fruit, twice the souring time, and an overhaul of our already absurd fruit dosing rate which will have you doing a Double Take. We have packed a mind bending 420 grams of raspberries into every litre. With the oozing fruit, puckering tartness, and antioxidant rush, this beer is a jedi mind trick on the soul.
